Save Nearly 1 Lakh On Your Renault Car: Big Discounts On Kiger, Triber And Kwid

Renault India is offering big discounts on all its products this April. The Kwid, Triber, and Kiger qualify for these. These deals are valid till the end of April 2025 and apply to both 2024 and 2025 model-year vehicles. However, buyers choosing unsold 2024 stock will be able to bag higher savings.
Renault’s entry-level hatchback, the Kwid, comes with discounts of up to Rs 78,000 on 2024 models. For the 2025 version, the total benefits go up to Rs 48,000. These include cash discounts, exchange and loyalty bonuses.
The base RXE and RXL (O) variants are not eligible for cash or exchange bonuses. However, they do get a loyalty bonus, and buyers can choose either a Rs 8,000 corporate discount or a Rs 4,000 rural benefit — not both. There’s also an additional referral bonus of Rs 3,000.
Price range: Rs 4.69 lakh to Rs 6.44 lakh (ex-showroom)

Like the Kwid, the base RXE variant doesn’t get a cash or exchange bonus. But it does come with a loyalty bonus and referral rewards. Buyers can also pick between a Rs 8,000 corporate discount or a Rs 4,000 rural incentive. The rural discount applies to farmers, sarpanchs, and gram panchayat members.

As many as six new models are to be expected from Renault in the coming years. The first two could be the facelifted Triber and Kiger slated for launch later this year.
The new MPV will get a sharper and more modern design. Inspired by Renault’s global models, the new look will make it feel more mature and less like a bigger version of the Kwid. The front and rear styling will likely see minor but noticeable changes.
Inside, the new Triber could get a lighter colour theme, new dashboard layout, and more upmarket materials. Renault may follow the interior theme seen on the updated Magnite. It will also debut Renault’s new logo in India for the first time.
There won’t be any mechanical changes. The Triber will continue with the same 1.0-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine, which offers good fuel economy and is known for its reliability.
Renault is also preparing for a big comeback of the Duster nameplate in India. The all-new third-generation Duster will be based on the Dacia Bigster concept and will be offered in both 5-seater and 7-seater versions.
The upcoming Duster will have a completely new design, a modern and tech-loaded interior, and likely offer turbo-petrol engine options. Expect features like ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems) and multiple drive modes to be part of the package. The launch of the new Duster is expected to happen sometime in 2026.
The French automaker has been facing serious challenges in the Indian market. Sales have slowed down, and the brand is currently using only 45-50% of its production capacity at the Chennai facility. With the new products in the pipeline, Renault hopes to increase this to 70%, but it won’t be easy.
The Indian auto market has changed fast. Brands like Mahindra and Tata Motors have become stronger by launching bold, tech-packed vehicles. Maruti Suzuki, Hyundai, MG, Toyota, and Kia have also kept pace with aggressive product strategies. In this highly competitive space, Renault, however, is struggling to hold its ground.
While nothing around it has been confirmed yet, Renault might consider launching hybrid or alternate fuel vehicles in India. Globally, the Duster is offered with an LPG-petrol hybrid engine, which could be a smart choice for Indian buyers as well.
The upcoming launches might bring a fresh wave of excitement. But more than that, the company needs to prove its seriousness about India. With better products and stronger customer support, it has a chance to bounce back.
