Renault’s First Global R-Store: Now Live In Delhi NCR

Renault has launched its first global R-Store in Delhi NCR, choosing Ghaziabad for the debut of its modern retail concept. The facility covers 17,019 square feet and combines showroom, service, spares, and merchandise under one roof, with a focus on making the car buying and owning experience straightforward and efficient for local customers. This comes on the back of launch of recent refreshed Triber and Kiger with aggressive prices and attractive offers.
With the R-Store’s arrival in Ghaziabad, Renault brings a new visual identity to the region. The exterior features black panels and the brand’s updated logo, while inside, the cars are spaced out on raised platforms under bright lighting, making them easy to explore without crowding or pressure.
The store is set up to allow buyers to view, sit inside, and examine the vehicles at their own pace. Different counters handle sales, service requests, spare parts, and even branded Renault merchandise - so customers can manage everything from booking a test drive to buying car accessories in one visit.
A comfortable lounge equipped with charging points and city maps lets visitors wait for service or plan out test drives. Customers can watch their vehicles being serviced through glass panels, while spares are stored right behind the sales area, reducing wait times if a part needs to be replaced.
Ghaziabad is a major commuter hub for those travelling in and out of Delhi and Noida, with car ownership rising by 12 per cent in the last two years thanks to new roads and better connectivity. By opening its R-Store here, Renault has placed a full-service location closer to customers who previously had to travel longer distances for servicing or spares. The site also attracts drivers from nearby towns like Meerut and Hapur, making it a central hub for the region.
Dealers point out that buyers today want more than just a spot to book a car - they expect their purchase, financing, after-sales, and merchandise to all be handled together. The Ghaziabad R-Store does this by offering a single destination for everything. Early data shows that 1 out of every 4 people who come in for service also end up booking a test drive, pointing to the added convenience for visitors.
The new retail model at the R-Store is all about comfort and clarity. Cars are displayed on round, open platforms, each with its own digital kiosk showing specs and options. After choosing a model, buyers move straight to a separate sales area, streamlining the paperwork and delivery process.
Service staff use tablets to display real-time images and updates about a vehicle’s maintenance, so customers see exactly what’s being done. Parts staff wear badges in different colours, helping customers find the right counter for tyres, filters, or extras. Renault merchandise, including jackets and model cars, is available on shelves but does not take over the main car display area.
The R-Store has a special section for Renault’s electric vehicle lineup. Charging cables and displays explain EV tech in clear terms, and staff trained in electric and hybrid cars are ready to answer any questions about home setup or charging habits.
Ghaziabad is just the start - Renault plans to open up to 20 R-Stores in large cities over the next 18 months, all built on this “3S” (Sales, Service, Spares) layout. Each outlet will adapt to local needs but follow the same blueprint for customer flow and modern design.
Renault already has more than 430 sales points and nearly 500 service centres in India, and bringing key locations up to the R-Store standard means a more unified look and feel for the brand. Staff at the new Ghaziabad outlet report faster sales cycles and more customers converting from service visits to new bookings.
For Renault buyers, this means fewer trips between different locations and clearer information at every point, whether browsing, buying, or returning for service. The new layout is designed to meet growing demand for digital tools and transparency, as well as increased interest in EVs and advanced tech among customers.
