Toyota Innova Type 3 Beautifully Resto-Modded To Look And Feel Brand New [Video]

If you own an old Innova you may have thought about selling the car because it looks old even though it is perfectly fine mechanically. Today, we will show you a solution which can make your car look like brand new. We will cover an old Toyota Innova which has been beautifully restored. The work is done and showcased on YouTube by Autorounders.
The video starts with the before look of the car which is a first gen type 3 Innova. The car looks quite well maintained with no major issues. Even the bodyline and the paint work looks fine. The host mentions that they will be keeping this Innova as type 3 only, keeping the customer’s demand in mind.
Talking about the changes, the car will be repainted and de-chromed. Additionally, the interior will be customized to give it an aesthetic look and fresh look.
After showing the before condition, the work process is shown. This is done to highlight how carefully and professionally their team handles cars. The painting process is shown as well which is done in a paint booth. The host further mentions that they use high quality paint imported from Germany.
First, the customer decided to paint this car in black but he later changed it to Donington Grey which is a beautiful color. We have covered multiple Innovas and a Fortuner which were repainted to Donington Grey by Autorounders. With the black paint color they opted for an all black interior which may not suit the Donington Grey. Hence, it had to be changed as well.
Now, let’s talk about the finished product. The entire car is de-chromed and the chrome parts are now finished in gloss black to add to the contrast. The headlights are replaced with aftermarket projector lights.
In the side profile, the ORVMs, door handles and the alloy wheels are repainted to glossy black to give the MUV a sport appeal. Not many modifications are done in this Innova. The rear profile of the car is fitted with smoked aftermarket lights. Additionally, all the emblems are changed to glossy black.
Now, let’s talk about the interior. The theme chosen for the cabin is light tan with black which definitely looks more beautiful than an all black cabin. The dominant color in the cabin is the light tan. The door pads, dashboard, seat covers and all the leather are finished in light tan.
The black color only exists on the gear lever, steering wheel and the top part of the dashboard. Additionally, the roof liner has been changed to black that beautifully compliments the light tan cabin. The host specially highlights the seat covers which are made by them in their own workshop. The additional loadings in the cabin include ambient lighting.
