This video of the accident between a Royal Enfield Himalayan and a car has been shared on YouTube by Prateek Singh. It starts off with a car, which can be seen heading towards an intersection. As per the creator, this video has been shared from Pune, Maharashtra.
What happens in the video is, as the car was driving straight on the intersection, a man along with his son on a Royal Enfield Himalayan were seen approaching the main road. Following this, it can be seen that this bike eventually comes and crashes with the car.
Soon after this, the son who was sitting in the background of the bike confronts the car owner. To this, the car owner shouts at him that he has a camera inside. He then asks him to go away.
Who was at fault?
From the dashcam footage, it can be noticed that the fault here is of the Royal Enfield Himalayan rider. During his crossing of the road, he can be seen not paying attention to the incoming traffic from his left side. It was only after he crosses the road he takes a look at the car coming.
By this time, the car driver had already crossed the intersection. And the biker rider along with his son came very close to his front right section. Now, because of this, he could not brake in time and the bike crashes with the car.
Viewers can also note that the bike was carrying a little more speed as well. Now, although the car driver was not at fault here, he could have also slowed his car down a bit beforehand to avoid this accident. What happened next?
Soon after, the biker collided with the front right section of the car. It can be noted that he fell on the road with his Himalayan. The video shows that he and his bike slid on the main road for a short distance. However, what’s interesting is that the son of the biker miraculously escaped the fall.
Most likely he might have jumped during the crash and stood on his legs. Hence, it can be noted that he did not suffer any injury. Unfortunately, the bike rider sustained some minor injuries on his hands and legs after sliding on the road.
Car driver took them to hospital
According to the creator of the video, the car driver, despite having no fault, showed courtesy. After he was suggested to go, he stopped and took the biker and his son to the hospital. In most cases after an accident, people drive away to avoid taking the other person to the hospital.
