We have often been in situations where we try to help someone, and things don’t go as planned. We have seen people pushing bikes and even cars on the road after they run out of fuel. Some people even take help from passersby on the road. Sometimes, these attempts to help do not end as intended. Here, we have a video showing a Bullet rider trying to help a TVS iQube rider who was stranded in the middle of the road after his scooter ran out of charge, but things went wrong.

The video was shared by Black Cat on his X profile. In this video, we see a Royal Enfield rider approaching a TVS iQube rider who is pushing the electric scooter after it ran out of charge. The biker asks about the situation and then offers to help, starting to push the scooter from the rear.

They soon join a busy road, and as seen in the video, the rider is pushing at a speed that appears to be above normal. They join a flyover, where there are other vehicles in front of the scooter. When the scooter rider saw an Indigo sedan in front of him, he tried to move the scooter into the left lane. The Royal Enfield rider, however, was unaware that the scooter rider would make such a move.

The scooter rider moved to the left without slowing down, and that’s when things went wrong. During this maneuver, the scooter rider lost balance and suddenly moved too close to the road’s railing. The biker, who was pushing the scooter from the left side, crashed into the railing as well.

Both of them fell onto the road. Thankfully, they were both wearing helmets and likely escaped the accident without serious injuries. The scooter rider actually fell off the vehicle and rolled onto the road.

Fortunately, no other vehicles were coming from behind. If there had been a vehicle at the rear, the chances of both riders getting injured or run over would have been high.

If something like that had happened, it could have made things worse. The biker was probably trying to help the scooter rider, but it didn’t go as planned. The comment section under this video is filled with mixed opinions. Some of the comments include, “If you don’t know how to tow, then why take the risk?” “Very bad—don’t help just for the sake of it. Poor chap, hope he is okay,” and “Bro was on a mission to get famous on the internet,” among others.

If you are trying to help someone on the road by pushing a vehicle from the rear or towing it, there are a few things to keep in mind. Always maintain a low speed, and be mindful of the person being towed.

Coordination between both riders or drivers is always essential. If you feel the speed increasing, apply the brakes slowly to regain control. Also, do not push while going downhill, as the chances of losing control are much higher. And as always, do not forget to wear a helmet in such situations.
