Shahrukh Khan Showcases Facelifted Hyundai Alcazar’s Interiors In New Video

The new Hyundai Alcazar will launch in India on September 9, 2024. Bookings are already underway for a token amount of Rs. 25,000. The exterior design of the upcoming SUV was previously revealed through a series of images. A previous teaser video featuring Shah Rukh Khan further detailed the design and hinted at some of the features to be expected. A new video shared on official Hyundai handles shows the cabin design, colourway and features included.
There will be a total of four variants available: Executive, Prestige, Platinum, and Signature. There will be both six-seater and seven-seater versions available. The six-seater will have comfortable captain seats in the second row and will be available exclusively on the top-end trims. The new video features SRK experiencing a six-seater Alcazar. The Black and Tan dual-tone colourway can be seen in detail. The cabin seems to have a luxurious feel to it.
The new Alcazar will be packed with features and technology. It will have a 1-.25 inch touchscreen Apple Carplay and Android Auto, dual USB Type-C ports, BOSE premium audio, a large panoramic sunroof, and a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster. There will be a slew of connected car features including the option to use your smartphone as the vehicle’s key. The touchscreen and instrument cluster are integrated into a single housing. The design and layout of these would remind you of the outgoing Creta.
The new Alcazar, on the top-spec 6 seater version, will have ventilation for four of its seats- the first and second rows. Both the front seats will have 8-way power adjustments. There will also be a ‘Retract’ function on offer, which automatically adjusts the seats for easier ingress and egress. The video also shows King Khan taking a ride in one of the rear seats.
The six-seater has captain seats in the second row with seat-mounted armrests, adjustable headrests with side bolstering, and adjustable thigh extensions. The new Alcazar will also offer the convenience of ‘Boss mode’ adjustments. The rear passenger can use a pair of buttons to electrically adjust the co-driver’s seat. The second-row occupants will also get IT device trays with foldable cup holders and window curtains.
Other features expected on the facelifted Alcazar are ambient lighting, level 2 ADAS, dual-zone climate control, wireless chargers on the first and second rows, horizontal AC vents and a magnetic pad like the ones found on IONIQ 5 EV.
2024 Hyundai Alcazar facelift will have key design changes and will be heavily influenced by the design of the outgoing Creta. It will have a full-width LED light bar and LED DRLs with a distinctive H-shaped design. The front grille will look fresh with sporty dark horizontal slats. The headlamps will stand close to those on the Creta, on design grounds. The Alcazar facelift will get new bumpers with front skid plates, a new smoked tail lamp design, sporty roof rails, body-coloured door handles and new dual-tone 8-spoke R18 alloy wheels.
There will be a total of 9 colours available: Robust Emerald Pearl, Robust Emerald Matte and Fiery Red. Other colours are Titan Grey Matte, Starry Night, Ranger Khaki, Abyss Black, Atlas White, and Atlas White with Abyss Black roof. Three of these will be all-new shades.
The facelift will have the same set of powertrains as its predecessor. It will thus have the 1.5 diesel and 1.5 turbo petrol engine options. The turbocharged petrol will deliver 160 hp and 253 Nm. The diesel, on the other hand, will churn out 116 hp and 250 Nm. The petrol can be had with both 6-speed manual and 7-speed DCT, while the diesel will offer the choice of a 6MT and 6AT.
