Skoda Kylaq Accessories: New TVC Released

The Skoda Kylaq is currently the hottest new product from the Czech automaker. This subcompact SUV is helping the brand get a bigger market share in India. Recently, in order to entice more customers, the company has released a new TVC showing all of the accessories it has to offer for the Kyliaq.
This TVC, showing the accessories Skoda has to offer for the newly launched Kylaq, has been shared on Skoda India's YouTube channel. It starts off by showing all the accessories for the exterior. At the front, the company is offering a front grille garnish, which adds chrome slats between black slats of the lower trim variants.
Apart from these, the company is also providing a front bumper garnish, which adds a blacked-out trim for the bumpers. There are also front parking sensors. It has to be noted that even the top-of-the-line Prestige variant does not come with front parking sensors. Next up, the video shows an integrated roof spoiler, which is finished in black.
Other exterior accessories offered by Skoda for the Kylaq include mud flaps, door edge garnish, and door visors. The company is also offering lower trim variant buyers the option to opt for painted high-gloss black alloy wheels. From the factory, the base variant only gets 16-inch steel wheels, and the variants above it—except for the top-of-the-line Prestige trim—get 16-inch silver alloy wheels.
The Kylaq also comes with body side moldings with a hint of chrome and unique underbody lights. Additionally, the Kyliaq also comes with a puddle lamp, which projects the Skoda logo on the ground and becomes clearly visible at night.
Moving on to the accessories for the interior, the Skoda Kylaq is being offered with scuff plates, a unique silver safety hammer with Skoda branding, and a torch on the other side. Apart from these, the company is also offering textile foot mats as well as 3D all-weather mats.
Kylaq buyers can also choose to opt for leatherette seat covers from the brand, which are finished in black and are airbag-friendly. Also, to keep young children safe, the company is offering buyers child seats, which can be fixed with ISOFIX child seat mounts. Other accessories for the Kyliaq include an air purifier.
The base Classic trim of the Kylaq does not get an infotainment system, so the company is offering buyers a touchscreen, which appears to be a 10.25-inch multimedia system. Most likely, it will offer Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. Other interior accessories include sporty metal pedals, a sun blind set along with a rear windscreen sun blind, a luggage net, a universal organizer, and a Blaupunkt dashcam.
The Skoda Kylaq currently starts at Rs. 7.89 lakh to Rs. 14.40 lakh (ex-showroom). As for the powertrain, the Kyliaq is currently only offered with a single petrol engine option. It is a 1.0-litre three-cylinder turbo petrol engine, which makes 118 bhp and 178 Nm of torque. Transmission options include a 6-speed automatic transmission and a 6-speed manual gearbox.
Reportedly, in the coming period, Skoda could also launch the more powerful 1.5-litre four-cylinder TSI EVO engine. This motor will be capable of producing 150 bhp and 250 Nm of torque. Once launched, it could become one of the fastest models from the brand.
