Like other Monte Carlo models, these will also have an exciting Red colourway with tasteful Black accents. The exterior will be Red. The Skoda grille, 16-inch wheels, wing mirrors, roof, boot-lip spoiler etc are finished in gloss Black. Multiple Monte Carlo badges can be seen on the exterior. Many of these can be seen in the dealer-yard captures.

The vehicle will also have Monte Carlo scuff plates. The interior is finished in Black, with multiple Red accents on the leatherette upholstery and dashboard. The virtual cockpit will also get a Red theme. The seats have ‘Monte Carlo’ inscribed on them.

The Slavia Monte Carlo will likely be powered by the 1.5-litre TSI petrol engine, producing 148 bhp and 250 Nm of torque, with transmission options including a six-speed manual and a seven-speed DSG. As with previous Monte Carlo editions, this version is expected to be a top-spec exclusive.

Thus, it will be loaded with features such as dual digital screens, wireless phone mirroring, climate control with rear AC vents, powered front seats, LED lighting, and six airbags standard across the range. There’s also speculation that this special edition might introduce new features like a 360-degree camera, heads-up display (HUD), and rear window blinds, showcased previously on the Kushaq Explorer edition.

The Next Big Launch From Skoda

The Monte Carlo editions will build further anticipation for Skoda’s upcoming launch- the Kylaq SUV, expected to launch by February 2025. It will be crucial for Skoda in both Indian and international markets. The Kylaq is expected to bring volumes and help Skoda achieve a five per cent market share in India by 2030.

Skoda brand director recently revealed their ambitions with the Kylaq. It could get competitive pricing. It could be priced in the 8 and 12 lakh bracket. Skoda seems to be targeting sales of 100,000 units in the first year of launch. If things go as planned, Skoda sales could double in the not-so-distant future. There will be an extensive focus on exports of the Kylaq. One out of ten units will be exported.

The Kylaq will be produced at the Škoda-Volkswagen plant in Chakan, near Pune. It is anticipated to feature the same 1.0-liter, 3-cylinder TSI turbocharged petrol engine as the Kushaq, also found in the Volkswagen Taigun and Virtus. In the Kylaq, this engine is expected to deliver 120 PS and 170 Nm of torque, with options for both a 6-speed manual and a 6-speed torque converter automatic transmission. It will have a monocoque chassis and front-wheel-drive (FWD).
