5 New Skoda Cars And SUVs Launching Next Year

The Czech automaker Skoda has been working relentlessly on getting a bigger market share in India. For this, the company is about to launch its brand-new sub-compact SUV, the Kylaq, in India. Now, along with this SUV, the company is about to launch four more models next year. So without any delay, let’s jump right into the details of these upcoming cars.
First off, let’s talk about the brand’s newest model, the Kylaq sub-compact SUV. This Maruti Suzuki Brezza, Hyundai Venue, and Tata Nexon rival will be making its debut on November 6. It is expected to launch in the range of Rs 8-12 lakh. Like all Skoda cars, it will also boast the brand’s “Modern Solid” design language.
It will come equipped with a split headlamp design, LED DRLs, an aggressive front bumper, and Skoda’s signature grille. The Kylaq will take inspiration from the Elroq and Kushaq and will be based on the MQB A0 IN platform. As for the powertrain, it will get the 1.0-litre TSI petrol engine, which makes 115 bhp and 178 Nm of torque.
Next up in the launch lineup of Skoda is the Kushaq facelift. Most likely, it will be launched next year. The exact launch timeline of the Kushaq facelift has not been revealed. Now, coming to the updates that will be offered with the Kushaq facelift.
It will come with ADAS Level 2 features, including adaptive cruise control, lane keep assist, and many others. Apart from this, it will also get a panoramic sunroof, new updated front and rear bumpers, and possibly revised headlights and taillights.
New alloy wheels, ventilated seats, and new trims will most likely also be offered with the Kushaq facelift once it’s launched in India. Mechanically, it will remain identical to the current model. Powertrain options will include 1.0-litre and 1.5-litre TSI engines.
Soon after the launch of the Kushaq facelift, Skoda will also be unveiling the refreshed version of the Slavia facelift. It will also be getting a set of new LED headlights, taillights, and new front and rear bumpers. Other updates on the interior could include the addition of new trims.
Most likely, it will also be getting ADAS Level 2 like its SUV sibling, the Kushaq facelift. Once again, the powertrain options of the 1.0-litre three-cylinder petrol and 1.5-litre 150 bhp-producing TSI engines will remain the same.
Currently, the Skoda Slavia and Superb are the two sedans on offer from the brand. Most likely, next year, the Octavia will be making a comeback to the brand’s lineup in India.
As per the reports, this time around the Skoda Octavia will be coming with the new 1.5-litre EA211 EVO2 petrol engine. This motor will generate 150 bhp and 250 Nm of torque. As for the updates on the exterior, it will be getting redesigned headlights, taillights, and a revised front grille.
On the inside, the new Octavia will be getting a 13-inch touchscreen infotainment system, a 360-degree camera, a wireless charger, ADAS Level 2, a sunroof, and a massive 600-litre boot. It will be priced in the range of Rs 30 lakh.
Last but not least, the company will also be launching its first electric vehicle, the Enyaq iV, in India. This EV SUV, which is based on Volkswagen’s MEB platform, will be offered with RWD and AWD configurations. As for the battery pack, the largest option will be an 82 kWh battery pack, which will offer it a range of 500 km on a single full charge.
This flagship electric vehicle will boast a very aggressive appearance on the outside. It will get an illuminated grille on the front along with LED headlights and a sharp bumper. It will also get aero blade-style alloy wheels and a sleek roofline. On the inside, it will come with all the creature comforts and modern features.
