The Scorpio name has a entirely different fan base in India. Mahindra currently sells the Scorpio in two variations: the more modern Scorpio N and the original Scorpio Classic. In the past, we have covered multiple Scorpio Ns that have been converted from base to top but today we will cover a base Z2 trim Scorpio N SUV that has been tastefully modified to a mafia vibe.

The SUV is modified and showcased in a YouTube video uploaded by Vig Auto Accessories. The youtuber has titled this video as India’s most mafia modification. Further it is mentioned that the interior of this base spec Scorpio N has been modified to look much better than the interior of the top end trim. Now, let’s understand in detail what changes have been made and if this SUV justifies the title of most mafia modification or not.

First of all, this Scorpio N is finished in black from the factory itself which is a must for a mafia look. The host starts by explaining the changes done to the front fascia. This includes addition of OEM LED fog lamps with DRLs, replacement of stock grille with a glossy black grille with chrome elements and replacement of reflector based halogen headlamps with projector based LED headlamps with sequential turn indicators. These are the same headlights which are offered in the top spec Scorpio N.

The side profile of this SUV now features 18 inch alloy wheels which are offered in the Scorpio N Z8L 4×4 trim. Furthermore, multiple chrome elements include waistline chrome, C pillar chrome and door visors with chrome elements are added. Roof rails were missing in this trim which are now installed. Additionally, side foot steps and silver skid plate on the front, rear and sides is also added.

The host specially highlights the rear profile of the car which has a unique change. The regular tail lamps are replaced with aftermarket units which come with a smoked out effect. Other additions in the rear profile includes rear spoiler, bumper chrome and silver skid plate.

The interior of this Scorpio N is finished in the same color combination as it comes from the factory. The team has tried to replicate the same interior by leather wrapping the dashboard, door pads and leg rests.

Additionally, a glossy black interior styling kit and silver inner door handles are also added. The changes in the interior do not end here. A unique addition in the cabin of this SUV is the active ambient lighting which is integrated into the door grab handles.

This elevates the overall experience of the cabin. Furthermore, the ambient lighting continues in the dashboard and the AC vents. The host also highlights the seat covers and 7D mats which also follow the same theme of tan and black.

A functional upgrade in the interior is the installation of ORVMs with electric adjustment and folding functionality. Another significant upgrade is the muscular steering wheel which enhances the overall driving experience.
