2025 Tata Altroz Facelift: Photo Gallery

Tata Motors just launched the Altroz facelift in the Indian market. It faces competition from the Maruti Baleno, Toyota Glanza and the Hyundai i20. The new Altroz comes in five trims, and is priced from Rs 6.39 lakh. Let's explore the facelifted Altroz in pictures:
The design has had a likeable evolution. The front fascia now looks more modern and edgy. Unlike its predecessor, the facelift comes with full-LED headlamps. These come with LED DRLs that look brilliant. The grille has now been made more visually striking.
The car also comes with new 16-inch Drag Cut alloy wheels and flush-type door handles. The rear gets a full-width LED lightbar, LED tail lamps and revised bumper.
The Altroz's colour palette now consists of five shades- Dune Glow, Ember Glow, Royal Blue, Pure Grey and Pristine White. Most of these colours seem to be evolutions of some from the previous hatchback's palette.
Tata Motors says that the Dune Glow and Ember Glow form the backbone of the facelift's palette. The manufacturer also claims that the 'Dune Glow' has taken inspiration from the Safari's Cosmic Gold, and intends to bring some of its visual character to the hatchback.
The cabin design has been revamped. The dashboard now features a new design, which Tata calls the 'Grand Prestigia'. There is a generous use of premium trims and materials.
The seats are all-new units and have Beige upholstery. The lighter colourway make the cabin feel more pleasant and roomy.
The kit levels have been improved significantly. The new Altroz comes with a 10.25-inch high-definition touchscreen by Harman. It comes with wireless Apple Carplay and Android Auto. Wireless smartphone connectivity can be very useful in real life. The car comes with an 8-speaker premium audio system. It consists of four speakers and four tweeters. There are even customizable audio modes offered- Harman AudioworX.
The instrument cluster is now a fully-digital display, which also projects maps and navigation in addition to regular driver data.
Another interesting change is the new steering wheel. The facelift comes with a two-spoke steering wheel with illuminated Tata logo at the centre, which the manufacturer calls 'Smart Digital Steering Wheel'. It comes with integrated controls for audio system, telephony and cruise control.
The HVAC controls on this vehicle are integrated into a touch-based panel. The automatic climate control unit here, comes with an 'Xpress Cool' function. It is particularly useful in India's hot, humid climate. None of the Altroz's rivals get this feature.
The new Altroz also comes with a single-pane sunroof. A sunroof is something that is becoming increasingly popular among Indian buyers. The facelifted Altroz even offer voice-controlled operation for its sunroof.
The feature list also consists of an air purifier, a wireless charger, climate control with rear AC vents, push-button start/stop, cruise control, auto-folding ORVMs, and revised ambient lighting.
Tata Motors has also given it a 360-degree camera and a Blind Spot Monitoring System which uses feeds from the mirror-mounted camera units.
The Altroz comes with diverse powertrain choices. Unlike rivals like Maruti Baleno and the Hyundai i20, which are now petrol-only models, the Altroz continues to offer a diesel and CNG powertrains in addition to the naturally aspirated petrol engine. It further retains the 5-speed manual and 6 speed dual-clutch automatic (DCA) transmissions. Plus, a new 5-speed AMT is now part of the lineup as well.
The 1.5 diesel engine continues to be a popular choice among buyers. The Altroz is currently the only product in its segment to come with a diesel powertrain. The only transmission offered on the diesel version is the 5-speed manual, and the vehicle can do the 0-100 kph sprint in just 12.8 seconds.
CNG powered Altroz gets Tata's smart 'Twin cylinder' technology. This helps generate more usable boot space by storing the fuel in two smaller, interconnected tanks rather than in a large single unit.
