Tata is all set to launch its coupe SUV, the Curvv, on the 7th of August. We have seen several leaked images and videos of the SUV on the road before its launch. Tata has also released official images of the SUV prior to the launch. Now, we have a new television commercial released by Tata showcasing the Curvv SUV’s exterior.

The video has been shared by Tata on its official YouTube channel. In this video, we get to see the exterior of the SUV with a glimpse of some of its features. The video starts by showing the side profile and front grille. The side profile design of the Curvv is what sets it apart from the rest of the segment.

The SUV seen here is finished in the same Cosmic Gold shade as the Safari. The SUV features flush-fitting door handles. There are LED indicators on the door handles, which mark the position of the handles. We also see the welcome light bar at the front with dual-function LED DRLs and projector LED headlamps.

The SUV also comes with projector headlamps on the bumper, similar to the Harrier and Nexon. The SUV also has Harrier and Safari-like jewel inserts on the front grille. We see the Tata logo on the grille with a 360-degree camera below it. The Curvv gets a panoramic sunroof and an electrically opening and closing tailgate.

As this is a coupe SUV, the tailgate opens pretty wide, making it easy to load items. The Tata Curvv is actually going to compete against cars like the Hyundai Creta and Kia Seltos in the segment.

The SUV comes with a premium-looking cabin featuring Tata’s new twin-spoke alloy steering wheel with an illuminated Tata logo, a fully digital instrument cluster, a floating-type touchscreen infotainment system, automatic climate control, leatherette upholstery, front seat ventilation, electrical adjustments, and so on. However, we do not see any of this in the commercial. Tata will also offer ADAS level 2 features with the upcoming Curvv.

The rear LED connecting tail lamp of the SUV is also showcased in the video. The LED bar, along with sleek LED tail lamps, complements the overall look of the SUV. The TVC mentions that the Curvv will be offered in petrol, diesel, and EV forms. The electric version of the Curvv has been spotted on the road a couple of times.

The electric version of the Curvv is expected to be offered with two battery pack options: a 40.5 kWh battery pack and a 55 kWh battery pack. The smaller battery pack is expected to offer a driving range of around 450-500 km, while the larger one is expected to offer at least 600 km on a single charge.

The ICE version of the Curvv seen in the video is expected to come with three engine options. It is likely to get a 1.2-liter, 3-cylinder TGDI petrol engine, a 1.2-liter, 3-cylinder turbocharged petrol engine, and a 1.5-liter turbocharged diesel engine. All these engine options would be offered with manual, automatic, or DCT gearbox options.
