Tata Curvv Dark Edition: Closer Look On Video Ahead Of Official Launch

Tata Motors is gearing up for the launch of the new Curvv Coupe SUV’s Dark Edition in India. This new Dark Edition model will be launched in the coming weeks. However, even before its official launch in the country, dealerships have already started receiving this model. Recently, one of the first Curvv Dark Edition models was shown in a detailed video walkaround. The host in the video shows the complete exterior and interior of this coupe SUV.
This video of the Tata Curvv Coupe Dark Edition has been shared on YouTube by Car Quest on their channel. It starts off with the host mentioning that this particular Curvv Dark Edition is the top-of-the-line Accomplished+ A variant. He then mentions that the company offers the Curvv in four main variants and then their sub-variants. These are Smart, Pure+, Pure+S, Creative, Creative S, Creative+S, Accomplished S, and Accomplished+ A.
Following the introduction, the vlogger then starts giving the detailed walkaround of the Curvv Dark Edition. He first shows the front end of this SUV and mentions that the main highlight of the Dark Edition Curvv is its all-black color. Apart from this, it gets the same unique L-shaped elements cluster grille, but it is finished in dark chrome. It also gets the same connected LED DRLs with a dark chrome Tata badge in the middle. The headlights remain the same.
Next up, the vlogger shows the side profile of the Curvv Dark Edition. He mentions that the same blacked-out theme has been continued and it gets black window garnish and Dark Edition badging on the front fenders. As for the main highlight, this model gets a set of 18-inch petal-shaped alloy wheels, which are the same as the standard model. These are finished in dual-tone and get disc brakes on all wheels.
Following the front and side profile, the host moves to the rear of this coupe SUV. He mentions that the model gets the same sloping roofline and high-mounted tailgate. Apart from this, it also gets the same connected LED taillights and dark chrome Curvv and Tata badge in the rear. The claddings are also finished in gloss black, giving the vehicle a much more premium appearance.
After showing the complete exterior of the vehicle, the vlogger moves to the interior of this coupe SUV. He states that the model comes equipped with a completely blacked-out interior. He states that the leatherette seats are finished in black and all the door handles are finished in gloss black. The vlogger also shows the front seats and mentions that the driver seat gets six-way power adjustment and ventilation. The co-passenger only gets ventilation.
He then shows the four-spoke multifunction steering wheel and dashboard of the SUV and states that it has been finished in the same blacked-out theme. There is only a brushed silver strip on the dashboard which breaks the monotony of the cabin. Apart from this, the rest of the features are the same.
The Curvv Coupe Dark Edition comes with features such as a 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. It also gets an automatic climate control system, a 9-speaker JBL audio system, a 10.25-inch digital instrument gauge cluster, a wireless charger, an air purifier, an electrochromic IRVM, and an illuminated and cooled glovebox.
Finally, the vlogger then talks about the powertrain options of the Curvv Coupe SUV. He states that this particular variant is the 1.5-litre diesel engine model, which makes 118 PS of power and 260 Nm of torque. Then there is a 1.2-litre Revotron engine, which makes 120 PS of power and 170 Nm of torque. Lastly, there is a 1.5-litre Hyperion engine, which offers 125 PS and 225 Nm of torque.
