August 7th is when Tata will officially launch their all-new coupe SUV, Curvv.ev, in the Indian market. The SUV has been featured in several teaser and promotional videos released by Tata themselves. It looks like Tata has already started shipping the new Curvv.ev to dealerships across the country. We now have a video where a Tata Curvv.ev is seen at a dealership before its official launch tomorrow. The video shows the coupe SUV inside and out.

The video has been shared by N5 Cars. In the video, we see the rear of the Tata Curvv.ev. It looks like the SUV had arrived at a dealer stockyard and someone decided to make a video of it. We see the electric tailgate of the Curvv.ev opening in this video. The SUV is given a blue shade, which gives it a very premium look.

It looks like Tata has placed the charger or other accessories in a box at the rear. The SUV gets a split spoiler integrated on the roof, and the roof itself is finished in a shade of black. The video also shows the tailgate closing. The interior of the Curvv.ev is finished in an ice grey or white shade. We see the white-colored upholstery on the steering wheel. The steering wheel is Tata’s new twin-spoke unit with an illuminated logo in the center.

We also see the panoramic sunroof in this video along with a fully digital instrument cluster, flush-fitting door handles, and a floating touchscreen infotainment system.

The SUV will also get features like ADAS, front ventilated seats, automatic climate control, cruise control, multi-mode regen, and so on. The SUV also comes with ambient lighting, a 360-degree camera, disc brakes on all four wheels, six airbags as standard, and many more safety features.

The SUV also comes with a new set of alloy wheels with aero inserts and low-resistance tires. The cladding around the wheel arches is all finished in gloss black, and the car gets a split headlamp setup with projector headlamps and welcome LED DRLs at the front. The welcome bar meets the dual-function LED DRLs, which look similar to those seen on the Nexon.ev.

The grille is completely closed like in any other EV, and the lower air dam lets the air in. Tata will offer the Curvv with two battery packs: a 40.5 kWh battery pack and a 55 kWh battery pack. The smaller battery pack version will probably be called Medium Range, while the bigger battery pack version might be called the Long Range Variant.

The 40.5 kWh battery pack will be the same as that used in the Nexon.ev. This variant of the Curvv.ev is expected to offer a driving range of around 450-500 km. The larger 55 kWh battery pack on the Curvv.ev will likely provide a claimed driving range of 600 km. This will be the largest battery pack installed in a Tata EV to date.

The Curvv.ev will compete against the likes of BYD Atto 3, MG ZS EV, and XUV400 EV. The official launch of the Curvv.ev will start at around 11 am tomorrow, and we expect the manufacturer to launch the Curvv.ev at a very competitive price tag.
