Tata Curvv.EV: First Deliveries Of India Commence [Video]

Tata Motors officially launched the all-new Curvv.ev in the market earlier this month. Bookings for the Curvv.ev started on August 12, and it looks like the manufacturer has received an overwhelming response from buyers. We are yet to know the official booking numbers of the Curvv.ev. It seems Tata dealerships have not only started displaying this new EV but have also begun delivering it to customers. Here we have three videos where the all-new Curvv.ev is being delivered to customers.

The videos shared in this story are from different parts of the country. The first one is from Dehradun, the second is from Maharashtra, and the third is from Punjab. In all three videos, we see people taking delivery of their brand-new Tata Curvv.ev. It appears that Tata is currently dispatching the top-end variant to the dealers.

The EV comes in five variants: Creative, Accomplished, Accomplished+, Empowered, and Empowered+. The 45 kWh battery pack option is available with the Creative, Accomplished, and Accomplished+ variants. The long-range variant, or the larger battery pack variant, is available in all variants except the base Creative variant.

Tata dealerships currently have the top-end variant, and they will be delivering the more expensive variant to customers first. The waiting period for the Curvv.ev is 8 weeks for the 45 kWh version, while the 55 kWh battery pack version has an average waiting period of 6 weeks.

Tata Curvv.ev is India’s first electric coupe SUV. The SUV was launched at an exciting introductory price of Rs 17.49 lakh, ex-showroom. Tata is offering the Curvv.ev with two battery pack options: a 45 kWh variant and a 55 kWh variant. This is the largest battery pack Tata has installed in an EV to date.

As mentioned above, Tata is offering the Curvv.ev with two battery pack options. The 45 kWh battery pack variant has a claimed driving range of 502 km on a single charge. The 55 kWh variant has a claimed range of 585 km. The 45 kWh version generates 148 Bhp and 215 Nm of peak torque, while the larger battery variant generates 165 Bhp and 215 Nm of peak torque.

Tata Curvv.ev has been gaining popularity among buyers lately. One of the major reasons for this is the price overlap and fresh design. Compared to the Nexon.ev, the Curvv.ev has a premium look and is also a new model. Many dealers have been receiving a decent number of inquiries about the Curvv.ev. People are attracted to the looks, features, and pricing.

The Curvv.ev sits between the Nexon.ev and the upcoming Harrier.ev. It comes with an electrically adjustable driver’s seat, ice-grey colored leatherette upholstery, ventilated front seats, panoramic sunroof, automatic climate control, touchscreen infotainment system, fully digital instrument cluster, Tata’s new steering wheel with an illuminated logo, multi-mode regen, and more. Tata is also offering a wide range of Tata.ev official accessories with the Curvv.ev.

Tata is also offering level 2 ADAS with the Curvv.ev. The price for a brand new Tata Curvv.ev starts at Rs 17.49 lakh, ex-showroom, and goes up to Rs 21.99 lakh, ex-showroom. Tata will be soon launching the petrol and diesel version of the Curvv in the market soon. The official launch is set to happen on 2 September.
