The film has some breathtaking visuals of the Curvv.EV moving around in Udaipur. Several of the scenic routes and breathtaking architecture of the place can be seen.

It also features the major design details of the EV and the ease with which it can be had as a city car. Two exciting colourways- Virtual Sunrise and Empowered Oxide- are featured in the video.

Tata Curvv.EV: What Is It?

It’s a coupe SUV. Though built on the same platform as the Nexon, Tata Curvv.EV boasts larger dimensions and a more spacious and practical interior. It is 313mm longer with a 62mm longer wheelbase. This bump in length translates into a noticeable spike in legroom for passengers. Additionally, it is 6mm wider and 10mm taller than the Nexon. The boot capacity is 500L and there is a small frunk offered as well.

The design is impressive. All the body panels, trims and surfaces used feel aesthetic. The signature coupe roofline looks magnificent. The EV gets all LED lighting, 18-inch wheels and electric operation for its ‘charger lid’. All these can be seen in the promo video.

The Curvv EV is offered with two battery options: 45kWh and a larger 55kWh unit. The 55kWh version is powered by a 167hp electric motor that sits on the front axle, while the 45kWh version features a slightly less powerful motor that churns out 150hp. Both configurations produce 215Nm of torque.

According to Tata Motors, the 45kWh battery would deliver an MIDC (Modified Indian Driving Cycle) range of 502 km on a single charge, while the 55kWh version would have a higher range of 585 km. In real driving conditions, however, we can expect the range to be around 425 km per charge.

Tata has packed the Curvv.EV well with features. The higher variants get leatherette upholstery, ventilated front seats that are six-way adjustable, a two-step recline function for the rear seats, Tata Arcade.ev app suite, a panoramic sunroof, touch-based climate control panel, a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster, wireless charging, a powered tailgate with gesture control, and a high-quality 320W JBL 9-speaker sound system and more. Additionally, passengers also enjoy the convenience of 45W Type-C charging ports in both the front and rear rows.

In terms of safety, the Curvv.EV offers six airbags, an electronic parking brake with an auto-hold feature, hill-start and descent assist, electronic stability control (ESP), and a blind spot monitor. It also comes equipped with Level 2 Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) and additional acoustic alerts for pedestrian safety. The vehicle also offers V2L charging.

The manufacturer has played wise with the EV’s pricing. Most variants of the Curvv.EV are priced close to those of the Nexon EV. The price gap between the range-topping variants of Nexon EV and mid-spec Curvv.EV is quite small. The clever product placement will surely translate into sales in the coming months.
