Tata Curvv.EV: New Video Shows Boot Capacity, Electric Boot Lid And Interiors Before Launch

The Tata Curvv.ev will be launched on August 7th. Tata has officially released images and videos of the upcoming Curvv.ev online, which we have also featured on our website. The SUV has been spotted on the road several times before the official launch, and we now have a new video showing the Curvv.ev’s electric tailgate in action, along with its interiors.
The video, shared by Prateek Singh on his YouTube channel, appears to have been provided by one of his followers. In the video, we see the Curvv.ev in its signature blue shade. The SUV is shown on the roadside with the electric tailgate opening. The boot, as seen earlier in the video, looks extremely large, and the coupe design provides a very wide opening.
The video also reveals a button on the tailgate that closes the boot automatically. The sleek LED tail lamps and connecting LED bar are visible in the video. The Curvv.ev badge is also prominently displayed. We also see the Curvv.ev being driven on some rough sections of the road.
The video then provides a glimpse of the interior. The flush-fitting door handles with illumination are visible. The Curvv.ev features Tata’s new steering wheel with an illuminated logo in the center. The digital instrument cluster and the new touchscreen infotainment system are also shown. The video discusses the features that Tata will be offering with the new Curvv.ev.
The SUV will be positioned above the Nexon and below the Harrier. It will include premium features such as perforated front seats with ventilation, automatic climate control, a panoramic sunroof, cruise control, paddle shifters, multi-mode regeneration, rear AC vents, Level 2 ADAS, ambient lighting, a 360-degree camera, disc brakes on all four wheels, six airbags as standard, low-resistance tires, and aero wheels, among others.
Tata will offer the Curvv with two battery packs: a 40.5 kWh battery pack and a 55 kWh battery pack. The 40.5 kWh battery pack will be the same as that used in the Nexon.ev. This variant of the Curvv.ev is expected to offer a driving range of around 450-500 km and may be labeled as the Medium range variant.
The larger 55 kWh battery pack on the Curvv.ev will likely provide a claimed driving range of 600 km. This will be the largest battery pack installed in a Tata EV to date. The upcoming coupe SUV will compete with models such as the MG ZS EV, Mahindra XUV400, and BYD Atto 3.
The exterior design of the SUV has already been revealed. It features a futuristic front design with a connecting LED bar that spans the width of the vehicle. This LED bar connects the dual-function LED DRLs, and the headlamps are placed on the front bumper. The lights are fully LED, and the front grille is closed, similar to other Tata EVs.
As with all Tata products, we expect Tata to remain competitive with the pricing. We will soon be driving this SUV, and a detailed review will be available both on our website and on our YouTube channel.
