From the teaser, we can note that the overall dashboard layout of the Curvv EV will be very similar to that of the Tata Nexon EV. This means that it will come with a dual-tone interior with a white and black color combination. Also, the main dashboard will be dominated by a massive touchscreen and underneath it, there will be touch-based HVAC controls.
The car will also come with leatherette upholstery and a ton of premium features. Tata Curvv EV coupe SUV’s feature list will include ventilated front seats, a 6-way power driver seat, and a 6-way power front passenger seat. It will also get paddle shifters, a rear USB-C charger, front and rear armrests, and rear AC vents to ensure a comfortable journey for all passengers.
Additionally, the Curvv EV will also come with a panoramic sunroof like its elder siblings, the Harrier and the Safari. Tata Motors will also be offering this SUV with a 12.3-inch touchscreen that supports wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. It will also get voice commands to allow for hands-free operation of various functions.
The sound system is equally impressive, with 4 speakers, 4 tweeters, and a subwoofer, all powered by a Harman sound system. Telematics and navigation are integrated into the instrument cluster. It will also come with AUX, FM, and USB options.
Apart from all the features, one of the major highlights of the Curvv EV will be the inclusion of ADAS Level 2. The SUV will get features like adaptive cruise control with stop-and-go traffic assist, forward collision warning, and avoidance assist.
The Curvv EV will also get lane keep assist, lane follow assist, and lane departure warning systems. Additional features like rear collision warning, traffic sign recognition, and driver attention warning. It will also get a doze-off alert which will be a unique segment-first feature.
As for the safety features, the Curvv will come with an electronic parking brake with auto-hold, hill descent control, and hill start assist. It will also get LED front fog lamps, ISOFIX child seat mounts, LED projector headlamps, and front parking sensors. The charging port will be hidden behind the Tata logo. It will also get a set of unique bumpers and the alloy wheel design will also be different.
At the moment, the exact powertrain specifications have not been revealed. However, it will most likely get two battery pack options. The bigger battery pack will be a 55.5 kWh unit which could offer a range of up to 600 km. The other battery pack could be borrowed from the Nexon EV.
As for the pricing, it is believed that the Curvv EV will be priced in the range of Rs 20-24 lakh. Once launched, it will be competing with the likes of the MG ZS EV in India. It would also overlap with its sibling, the Nexon EV, as well.
