As a result of this pull, Tata Motors has been rewarded with a record by the India Book of Records for a passenger aircraft pulled by a petrol SUV for the longest distance. The record mentions that the petrol-powered SUV successfully pulled a 48-ton passenger aircraft with fuel and no passengers inside for a distance of 110.24 meters.

Tata Curvv also pulled three Tata trucks

As mentioned above, the Tata Curvv, prior to pulling this Boeing 737 aircraft, also managed to pull three Tata trucks together, which in total weighed 42,000 kg. In this video as well, the Curvv, powered by the 1.2-litre Hyperion TGDi petrol engine, was able to easily pull the trucks on an empty road.

Tata Motors, with the launch of the Curvv coupe SUV last year, debuted the 1.2-litre Hyperion TGDi petrol engine. This motor is capable of producing 123 bhp of power and 225 Nm of torque. As for the transmission options, it comes with a 6-speed manual gearbox and an optional 7-speed DCT transmission.

In addition to the 1.2-litre Hyperion engine, Tata Motors also offers the Curvv with the Kryojet 1.5-litre diesel engine option as well. This motor is able to produce 116 bhp and 260 Nm of torque. There is also another engine option, a 1.2-litre turbo petrol that makes 118 bhp and 170 Nm of torque.

Currently, the Tata Curvv coupe SUV starts at Rs 9.99 lakh and goes all the way up to Rs 19.20 lakh. It is based on Tata’s newest ATLAS architecture.
