Tata will be launching their all-new Curvv SUV in the coming weeks. Before the launch, the SUV has already been spotted on the road without any camouflage. There are several images and videos related to it online. The Curvv.ev will be launched on August 7, and the ICE version will follow soon. We now have a new image of the Tata Curvv in a striking red shade.

The images have been shared by VJ Negi on their Instagram page. In these images, we see the Tata Curvv parked in an open location without any camouflage. It appears the person could not take clear pictures of the car as the staff around the vehicle did not allow him to. However, we do get a glimpse of what the SUV offers.

We see the side, rear, front, and also the wide-opening doors of the Curvv SUV. The SUV looks good in this shade of red and gives it a very sporty appeal. The SUV gets a connecting LED bar at the front, which Tata calls a welcome LED bar. These lights meet the dual-function LED DRLs. The headlamps are placed on the bumper and are projector LED units.

We see the dual-tone alloy wheels which have a flower petal-like design on them. The SUV gets gloss black cladding around the wheel arches, rear, and front bumpers. There is a faux skid plate underneath too. The sloping roof, split integrated spoiler, sleek LED tail lamps, and the connecting LED bar are all visible in the pictures.

We do not see the interiors of the Curvv in these pictures. It looks like the SUV will have perforated leatherette upholstery. The front seats will have the seat ventilation feature. The Curvv SUV will offer the large touchscreen infotainment system that is typical in recent Tata cars. The instrument cluster will be fully digital too.

Tata Curvv spotted

Tata will be offering features like a panoramic sunroof, 360-degree camera, Level 2 ADAS, automatic climate control, and more. Tata is also expected to offer an electrically adjustable driver seat for the higher variants. Regarding engine options, Tata will be offering three engine choices with the all-new Curvv. There will be two petrol engine options and a diesel engine.

There will be a 1.2-litre turbocharged petrol engine which will be offered with manual and DCT gearbox options. The diesel engine on the Curvv will be a 1.5-litre turbocharged unit likely to be offered with both manual and automatic transmissions.

Both these engines are the same as seen in the Tata Nexon. Apart from these two engine options, Tata will be offering a new 1.2-litre T-GDI petrol engine with the Curvv. This engine is also expected to come with manual and automatic transmission options.

The Tata Curvv will compete against SUVs like the Hyundai Creta in the segment. Tata will position the Curvv between the Nexon and Harrier. The electric version of the Curvv will come with two battery pack options and, like the ICE version, the Curvv.ev will also be positioned between the Nexon.ev and the upcoming Harrier.ev.
