Tata Curvv Seen At TVC Shoot: Gives Off Lamborghini Urus Vibes [Video]

Tata is all set to launch its coupe SUV, the Curvv, in the Indian market on August 7th. Before the official launch, we have started seeing videos and images of the Curvv EV online. In all these images, the SUV has been spotted undisguised or without any camouflage. The electric version of the Curvv will be launched in India first, and the ICE version will be launched soon after that. We now have a video where both the Curvv EV and the ICE version were spotted during a TVC shoot.
The video has been shared by Bobby G on their YouTube channel. In this video, we see a Tata Curvv EV hanging from a crane in an open ground. There are people around the car, and a crew is shooting the video too. Tata is probably making the official TVC or product video of the Curvv before its launch.
We see ropes hanging under the SUV, and there are men pulling the ropes and running in the opposite direction. They are, in fact, pulling the ropes to spin the car at just one point. We can see a camera recording this action too. The Curvv EV seen here is finished in its signature light blue shade. We will get to know the official name of this shade on the day of the launch.
Just behind the Curvv EV, we see the Curvv ICE version parked too. It looks like they will be making the TVC or product video for both models and releasing it later.
As we already know from the images and videos released, the Tata Curvv is a coupe SUV. The front end of the SUV is a combination of Nexon and Harrier. It looks futuristic and muscular at the same time. The welcome LED bar, dual-function LED DRLs, and split headlamps all add to the premium look.
Just like the front, at the rear we see a connecting LED bar and sleek-looking LED tail lamps on the Curvv. Apart from this, we see a set of lights and reflectors on the bumper as well. The rear bumper is finished in gloss black and silver. The SUV also gets a reverse parking camera right under the Tata logo on the boot. We also see the Curvv EV badge on the tailgate.
The rear of the Curvv EV does look inspired by the Lamborghini Urus. The SUV will offer premium features like leatherette upholstery with front seat ventilation, a panoramic sunroof, a 360-degree camera, a fully digital instrument cluster, a new floating-type touchscreen infotainment system, disc brakes on all four wheels, and automatic climate control.
The Curvv EV will also get Level 2 ADAS, which includes features like emergency braking, forward and rear collision warning, blind-spot detection, door open alert, rear cross-traffic alert, high beam assist, and traffic sign recognition. The Curvv EV is expected to be offered with battery pack options.
There will be a 40.5 kWh battery pack and a 55 kWh battery. The 40.5 kWh battery pack will be the same as seen on the Nexon EV. This variant of the Curvv EV is expected to offer a driving range of around 450-500 km. Tata might label this as the medium-range variant. The bigger 55 kWh battery pack on the Curvv EV will probably come with a claimed driving range of 600 km. This is going to be the biggest battery pack installed in a Tata EV to date.
As per recent reports, the ICE version of the Curvv is expected to be offered with a 1.2-liter NA petrol, a 1.2-liter turbo petrol, and a 1.5-liter turbocharged diesel engine option.
