Tata Harrier.EV Interiors Teased In Latest Video In The Run Up To Launch

Tata recently invited us to their plant in Pune to showcase their upcoming electric SUV, the Harrier.ev. We witnessed the capabilities of the Harrier.ev but never got a chance to look at the vehicle up close. However, Tata has now released a new video where we get to see a glimpse of the interior of the upcoming electric SUV.
The video has been shared by Tata.ev on their official X profile. It was recorded at Tata’s test track inside their manufacturing facility in Pune. We see the Tata Harrier.ev performing stunts on the track, with four electric SUVs being aggressively driven. The video provides a glimpse of the instrument cluster, dashboard, door panels, and seats of the Harrier.ev.
The first thing we notice in the video is the door panels of the Harrier.ev. The expert driver opens the door to enter the cabin, revealing an ice-grey or ivory-colored interior. The dashboard of the Harrier.ev follows the same design as the ICE version. The all-black or grey dashboard is complemented by an ivory-colored accent that extends to the door panels.
We see a large touchscreen infotainment system and a fully digital instrument cluster. While we couldn’t examine the instrument cluster in detail, it appears similar to the one on the Harrier facelift. We also see Tata’s signature two-spoke steering wheel with an illuminated logo in the center. This multi-function steering wheel features buttons to control the ADAS features and the infotainment system.
The seats in the Harrier.ev are made of perforated leatherette material in a dark shade. The roof liner and pillars are finished in ivory or ice-grey for an airy feel. On the center console, there is a digital rotary knob placed right in front of the gear shifter. Unlike the Nexon EV, which initially came with a rotary gear selector, the Harrier.ev retains a physical gear shifter. The rotary knob likely controls the drive modes, and behind the gear shifter, we can see an electronic parking brake. Overall, the cabin of the Harrier.ev is not too different from the ICE or diesel version.
Tata has already revealed the exterior of the Harrier.ev at the Auto Expo this year, and we know that it closely resembles the ICE version. However, this is the first time we are getting a glimpse of the interior.
Tata has yet to officially release details about the battery pack, range, and power of the upcoming electric SUV. Based on available online information, the Tata Harrier.ev is expected to be offered with 60 kWh and 75 kWh battery pack options. The larger battery variant will come with a dual-motor setup.
The Tata Harrier.ev is also set to be the most powerful electric SUV in its segment. It is expected to generate 350 PS and 500 Nm of peak torque. The real-world range is estimated to be between 400 to 500 km. Tata is likely to launch the Harrier.ev in the coming months, and as with any Tata product, it is expected to come with an aggressive price tag.
