Tata Harrier.EV Stealth Edition Deliveries Commence: First Delivery On Video

Tata Motors has started commencing deliveries of the all-new Harrier. EV in India. We recently saw a dealer commencing a mega delivery of 25 Harrier.EVs on a single day. Now, another video has surfaced online, showing the delivery event of India's first Harrier.EV Stealth Edition.
It shows a Stealth edition being driven out of the dealer's premises. A girl is seen driving the SUV, and a guy is seated in the front passenger seat as well.
Tata Motors has over the years, rolled out several special editions and limited editions across its portfolio. Of these, the Dark edition and the Stealth edition received massive acceptance. As for the Harrier.EV, the Stealth edition was launched alongside the regular EV. It was in fact, on display at the Auto Expo this year, where the Harrier.EV made its official premiere.
The carmaker introduced the Harrier.EV in India in June. The ex-showroom prices for it start at Rs 21.49 lakh. For the stealth edition, however, the starting price is Rs 28.24 lakh. The range-topping Empowered QWD 75 ACFC Stealth is priced at Rs 30.23 lakh, ex-showroom.
The Stealth edition has always been a cosmetic package. It comes finished in a Matte Black exterior colour. The 19-inch blade-styled wheels get a dual-tone finish, and there are multiple 'Stealth' badges in various areas of the design. The Stealth edition has all the Chrome bits darkened and indeed comes with a menacing look. Tata offers the Stealth edition Harrier.EV in four variants- Empowered 75, Empowered 75 ACFC, Empowered QWD 75 and Empowered QWD ACFC.
The cabin has a dark theme as well. Tasteful touches of Piano Black and an all-Black upholstery can be found inside. The feature list is much the same as the standard car.
Ir consists of a 10.25-inch digital driver’s display, 14.5-inch Samsung Neo QLED touchscreen, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a panoramic sunroof, dual-zone auto AC, a 10-speaker JBL audio with Dolby Atmos, ambient lighting, 540 degree camera, electronic parking brake with auto hold, powered and ventilated front seats, support for Over-the-air updates, digital IRVM with built-in dashcam recording, level 2 ADAS, digital key with ultra-wideband (UWB), near-field communication (NFC), Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE), and more. The electric SUV also comes with Vehicle-to-Load (V2L) and Vehicle-to-Vehicle (V2V) charging.
Tata Motors has based the Harrier.EV on the Acti-EV Plus platform. This is in fact, a heavily modified version of the diesel Harrier's platform. It, however, comes with a multi-link rear suspension, which Tata calls 'Ultra Glide'. The diesel version gets a conventional torsion beam setup. Two battery packs are offered- 65 kWh and 75 kWh.
The larger of these is claimed to offer a range of around 500 km per charge. The Harrier.EV also claims superfast charging. It can refill charge for 250 km of range in just 15 minutes. 20-80 per cent charging is said to take just around 25 minutes.
Like the standard EV, the Stealth edition too can be had in both single-motor rear-wheel drive and dual-motor all-wheel drive configurations (with a 158 PS induction motor mounted on the front axle and a permanent magnet synchronous motor (PMSM) sitting at the rear). The AWD version has an output of 396hp and 504 Nm, while the RWD version's powertrain can produce 238 hp.
Due to the extremely high demand for the electric SUV, the deliveries are getting delayed in many cities. Some variants demand waiting periods of up to 28-30 weeks in some cities. The Adventure and Fearless+ trims have the longest waiting spans. We expect these to come down in the upcoming months...
