He summons the Harrier.EV. The electric comes with a 'Summon' function which lets the driver use the key fob to move the vehicle forward and backwards. The BE6 and XEV 9e also come with similar features. The Harrier.EV moves slowly towards the summoned location. The driver meets it and takes control.

It is eight in the morning and the vehicle is fully charged. The indicated range is 620 km. The driver puts the vehicle into the Snow/Grass mode. Tata Motors has given it six terrain modes- Normal, Mud Ruts, Rock Crawl, Sand, Snow/Grass and Custom. No other EV in its segment has so many terrain modes on offer.

The man then drives through the snow. Even though the vehicle is being driven fast, the use of the right terrain mode makes sure that it has ample traction and remains in control. Soon, it moves to a road and then to some loose sand. The driver switches the modes accordingly. We also get to see the Harrier.EV perform some insane jumps and climbs in the video.

Tata has given the electric Harrier a 'Boost' mode, engaging which would fetch you unmatched torque (500Nm!) and peak performance. The driver in this video, uses it to take the vehicle to the top of a mountain. The vehicle also comes with a digi-access. The vehicle then drives on some rocky slopes with the 'Transparent Mode' engaged. The Harrier.EV, in addition to its regular 360-degree camera, gets an undercarriage-mounted unit which takes the coverage to as much as 540 degrees! This can be particularly useful while tackling terrains.

The TVC also shows the vehicle's HD rearview camera. The Harrier.EV comes with a camera unit mounted on its sharkfin antenna- a setup that we have seen on many modern Land Rover models. The Inside RearView Mirror (IRVM) doubles up as the display for this as well. You can do the switching manually if needed.
