The Harrier.EV has been one of the most-anticipated products for Tata Motors. It has become the carmaker's new EV flagship. The homegrown carmaker seems to be fully aware of its importance and has packed the Harrier.EV well. There are a total of five variants, two driving configurations (RWD and AWD) and two battery packs to choose from. Everything from features to powertrain tech has been carefully distributed among these variants. The uninformed could thus find it confusing to choose the right variant for himself/herself. On the design front, the base-spec Harrier.EV gets LED bi-projector headlamps and LED tail lamps. It rides on 18-inch alloy wheels. It is interesting that Tata Motors has given alloy wheels even on the base variant. The vehicle also gets integrated side steps for easy ingress and egress. The ORVMs get both electric folding and adjustment.

Inside, this variant gets leatherette upholstery and an eight-way power adjustable driver seat. The front passenger seat can be adjusted in four ways. The feature list includes dual 10.25-inch screens, wireless Apple Carplay and Android Auto, connected car tech, an audio setup comprising four speakers and two tweeters, cruise control, automatic climate control and 45W USB Type-C ports.

Even the entry-level variant is well-kitted with safety features. It has six airbags, TPMS, Hill Descent Control, HHC, VDC, Electronic parking brake with auto-hold, brake disc wiping, Hydraulic brake assist, Brake sway assist, and Traction Control. The Adventure 65 also offers vehicle-to-vehicle (V2V) and vehicle-to-load (V2L) charging.

The base-spec comes with just the 65 kWh battery pack. This is the smaller of the two available units. It gets an electric motor that powers the rear wheels. Tata Motors has given it three terrain modes and a dedicated Drift mode.
