Tata Harrier And Safari Adventure X Launched: Prices Start From Rs 18.99 Lakh

Tata Motors, in order to push the sales of the Harrier and Safari flagship SUVs, has now launched the new Adventure X personas or trims for both of these vehicles. The all-new Tata Harrier Adventure X starts at Rs 18.99 lakh, and the Safari Adventure X+ starts at Rs 19.99 lakh. With this pricing, Tata Motors aims to target a few popular sub-compact SUVs like the Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, and others. The new Adventure X trims get additional features such as ADAS Level 2, a 360-degree camera, and more.

Pricing

First off, let's start with the pricing of the newly launched Harrier Adventure X personas. The company is offering the Harrier mid-size SUV in Adventure X and Adventure X+ trims. The former is priced at Rs 18.99 lakh, and the latter is priced at Rs 19.34 lakh. On the other hand, the Safari is only being offered in the Adventure X+ variant, which is priced at Rs 23.09 lakh.

Feature upgrades

The Harrier and Safari Adventure X variants now get additional safety features, including the Advanced Driver Assistance System (ADAS) Level 2. Its suite of features includes adaptive cruise control, lane keep assist, autonomous emergency braking, forward collision warning, high beam assist, and lane departure warning, along with many others.

They also get a 360-degree surround-view camera, trail hold EPB (electronic parking brake) with auto hold, and trail response modes, including normal, rough, and wet. Tata is also offering these SUVs with a Land Rover-derived command shifter (AT), Ergo Lux driver seat with memory and welcome function.

Other notable highlights of the Harrier and Safari Adventure X trims include a 26.03 cm Ultra-View twin-screen setup, trail sense auto headlamps, Aqua Sense wipers, and multiple driving modes, including city, sport, and eco. They both also come with panoramic electric sunroofs.

Tata Motors is offering the Harrier with Onyx Trail interiors with black leatherette upholstery and tan accents. As for the Safari, it gets Adventure Oak interiors with tank oak-inspired leatherette and a sculpted dash. The Harrier, on the outside, gets 17-inch alloy wheels, and the Safari gets 18-inch alloy wheels.

With these trims, the Harrier will now be able to compete with popular mid-size SUVs such as the Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara, and others. As for the Safari, it takes on the Mahindra XUV700 and the Hyundai Alcazar in India.
