India's 5 Star Rated Hot Hatchback Gets A Hefty 1.35 Lakh Discount
February’s third top-selling automaker, Tata Motors, is currently giving huge discounts on its popular models in the country. Of these, the highest discounts are being offered on the newly launched Tata Altroz Racer. The sportier and more performance-oriented version of the Altroz is getting a massive discount of Rs 1.35 lakh. In addition to this, the Tiago.ev, which is the most affordable electric vehicle offered by Tata Motors, is getting a huge discount of Rs 1 lakh. There are also other models that are getting hefty discounts.
Tata Altroz Racer Discounts
First off, let's talk about the vehicle with the highest discounts in the month of March. Currently, the Altroz Racer, which is the brand's hot hatch and Hyundai i20 N-Line rival, is getting a significant discount of Rs 1.35 lakh. Tata Motors is offering an Rs 85,000 cash discount and Rs 50,000 as an additional exchange or scrappage bonus. It has to be noted that these discounts are only for the MY2024 cars.
As for the standard Altroz, the MY2024 models are getting a discount of Rs 1 lakh. Prior to this discount, the company was only offering a discount of Rs 35,000. Additionally, Tata Motors is also offering a discount of Rs 45,000 on the MY2025 Altroz models. These include all three powertrain types: petrol, diesel, and CNG.
Tata Altroz Racer
Coming back to the Altroz Racer, Tata Motors launched this model last year. This niche product has been introduced by the company to rival the Hyundai i20 N-Line. Its pricing starts at Rs 9.49 lakh and goes up to Rs 10.99 lakh. As for the variants, it is offered in three trims, namely R1, R2, and R3.
This hot hatchback comes equipped with a 1.2-litre turbo petrol engine that generates 120 bhp of power and 170 Nm of torque. On the outside, it gets “Racer” badging on the front fenders, a different front grille, a contrasting black roof with white racing stripes, and the same 16-inch alloy wheels as the standard model. It is offered in three colors: Atomic Orange, Avenue White, and Pure Grey.
Huge Discounts on Other Tata Models
In addition to the Altroz Racer, Tata Motors is also offering significant discounts on other models. These include its popular electric cars as well. The Tiago.ev, which is Tata's most affordable electric car, is getting a discount of Rs 1 lakh. Next up is the Tata Punch.ev, which is getting a maximum discount of Rs 90,000.
Moving on, both Tata Harrier and Safari siblings are getting identical Rs 75,000 discounts (MY2024). As for the MY2025 models, they are getting discounts of Rs 50,000. Tata's newest electric vehicle, the Curvv.ev, is also getting a decent Rs 70,000 discount. The ICE version of the Curvv is getting a Rs 50,000 discount.
Lastly, Tata Nexon, Tigor, and Tiago ICE are getting discounts of Rs 45,000. Tata Nexon.ev is being offered with a discount of Rs 40,000, and a Rs 25,000 discount is being provided for the Punch ICE. Most of these discounts are being given to clear the MY2024 stock so that the new MY2025 stock can be introduced.
