Tata Motors has rolled out Onam offers across its electric and internal combustion engine (ICE) range, with the newly launched Harrier.EV receiving a headline discount of ₹1 lakh. But there's a catch. This discount is only for existing Tata EV owners upgrading to the Harrier.EV. While the Harrier.EV was officially launched on June 3, the company is using the festive season to attract buyers with a direct price reduction.

Alongside this EV-focused announcement, Tata has also revealed benefits on its existing EV portfolio comprising the Punch.ev, Nexon.ev, and Tiago.ev as well as several ICE models like the Altroz, Tigor, and Harrier. These offers vary by model and variant, combining cash discounts, exchange bonuses, and extended warranty schemes, depending on availability.

Harrier.EV: ₹1 Lakh Discount On Bookings

Tata’s ₹1 lakh benefit on the Harrier.EV is a straight-up price cut available during the Onam season in Kerala, for existing Tata EV customers seeking to upgrade to the flagship electric SUV. Customers who book the SUV through authorised dealerships in the state are eligible for this offer. As the EV segment grows and buyers weigh premium alternatives, this discount makes the Harrier.EV a more competitive option within the midsize SUV space.

Built on Tata’s new Acti.EV platform, the Harrier.EV features a 60+ kWh battery, dual-motor all-wheel drive, V2L support, and ADAS. Prices for the model start at ₹27.99 lakh (ex-showroom), and the ₹1 lakh discount effectively brings down the entry point to ₹26.99 lakh for eligible buyers during the festive period.

Other EV Offers: Up To ₹1.3 Lakh In Benefits

Tata is also offering substantial Onam discounts across its existing EV lineup. These include a mix of consumer schemes such as cash benefits, exchange bonuses, and additional warranty coverage.

Punch.ev: Benefits of up to ₹10,000 are being offered on this new entry-level electric SUV. Since the Punch.ev is already priced aggressively and was launched recently, Tata appears to be using modest incentives to maintain momentum during the festive season.

Nexon.ev: Total benefits go up to ₹1.3 lakh, including a ₹50,000 consumer scheme and ₹50,000 exchange bonus, along with a complimentary extended warranty worth ₹30,000. These benefits apply to both the Medium Range and Long Range variants of the Nexon.ev. The offer significantly reduces the on-road price for customers in Kerala, especially those upgrading from older vehicles.

Tiago.ev: Buyers can avail benefits of up to ₹85,000, which include ₹50,000 in consumer schemes, ₹25,000 exchange bonus, and an extended warranty worth ₹10,000. This entry-level EV remains a popular choice for city commuters, and the Onam offers make it even more accessible.

All electric vehicle offers are valid through Tata’s network of authorised dealerships in Kerala during the festive period, subject to stock availability and variant choice.

ICE Models Also Get Festive Discounts

Tata’s Onam campaign is not limited to electric cars. Several ICE models are being offered with benefits ranging from ₹35,000 to ₹1.4 lakh, depending on the variant.

Harrier (Diesel): Benefits go up to ₹1.4 lakh, including cash discounts, exchange bonuses, and extended warranty offers. This is likely Tata’s push to keep diesel Harrier sales strong alongside the EV variant.

Safari (Diesel): Offers of up to ₹1.25 lakh are available on the flagship three-row SUV. These benefits vary by variant and are meant to bolster interest in the model before the arrival of upcoming rivals.

Altroz (Petrol/Diesel): Benefits go up to ₹45,000. This includes a mix of exchange bonuses and consumer discounts. The Altroz remains a key product in the premium hatchback segment and is available in multiple powertrain options.

Tigor (Petrol): Discounts of up to ₹45,000 are applicable, making this compact sedan an attractive proposition during the festive window. The Tigor also comes in an EV version, though the petrol variant receives separate ICE-only benefits.

Tiago (Petrol): The hatchback is available with benefits of up to ₹35,000. This includes both cash discounts and exchange offers. The Tiago remains one of the most affordable models in Tata’s lineup, and these discounts further widen its appeal.

These ICE model discounts apply to select variants and are available through Tata showrooms across Kerala until the end of the Onam festive period. Customers are advised to check with their local dealerships for variant-wise breakdowns and availability.

Festive Push Across Powertrains

The mix of EV and ICE offers suggests Tata Motors is using Onam to drive footfalls across its product portfolio rather than focusing on any single model. While the ₹1 lakh discount on the Harrier.EV serves as a headline-grabber, the deeper benefits on established products like the Nexon.ev, Safari, and Altroz reveal a more layered festive strategy.
