The Harrier.EV will be Tata’s first major electric SUV launch of 2025. Previously showcased at the Bharat Mobility Global Auto Expo and officially revealed afterwards, this EV is expected to launch in June this year.

The Harrier EV will have a bold and modern design. Key design highlights will include a closed-off grille, LED DRLs, split headlamps, futuristic lower bumper design, 19-inch aeroblade-style alloy wheels, connected LED taillamps, and a silver skid plate.

The cabin will have a dual-tone colourway. The Harrier EV will come with features like a 360-degree camera, four-spoke steering wheel with the illuminated Tata logo, touch-based HVAC controls, a 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system, and a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster. Powering the Harrier.EV will be a dual-motor setup that will have a combined output of 369 bhp and 500 Nm of torque. The vehicle will likely be able to do the 0–100 km/h sprint in under 6 seconds. Though not confirmed officially, the EV could come with a 75–80 kWh battery pack. The expected range is over 500 km per charge.

The vehicle will also come with all-wheel-drive (AWD) technology. It will be based on the modular Acti.ev platform. The all-electric Harrier is expected to have an ex-showroom price of Rs 25–30 lakh, when launched. It will battle the likes of the upcoming Mahindra XUV.e8 and Hyundai Creta EV.

Sierra EV

Tata Motors will soon resurrect the legendary 'Sierra' moniker. The production SUV will have both EV and ICE versions. The Sierra EV will be based on the Acti.EV platform and will be available in the front-wheel-drive (FWD) configuration alone. It will borrow the Harrier.EV's battery pack that is claimed to deliver 500+ km in range. The electric Sierra could have its pricing in the range of Rs 20–25 lakh. The EV form is expected to arrive before the ICE.

Sierra Petrol/Diesel

2025 Tata Sierra

Tata Motors showcased the Internal Combustion Engined (ICE) version of the Sierra at the Auto Expo this year. The production model will have clear visual differentiation from the Sierra EV and will likely be powered by the same engine as the outgoing Harrier and Safari. It could thus come with the diesel engine , and be joined by the newly developed petrol powertrain later.

Tata Harrier Petrol

Tata Motors is reportedly working on developing a new petrol engine that would soon sit under the hood of the Harrier. The petrol-powered Harrier will have minimal design deviations from the outgoing Harrier (which comes with a diesel engine). The new engine will be a 1.5-litre TGDi turbocharged petrol engine. It will likely produce 170 hp. Tata had previously showcased this mill at the Auto Expo 2023. The market launch is expected in July 2025.

Safari Petrol

The new petrol engine is also expected to make its way into the Safari as well. The Safari now comes with the same diesel engine as the Harrier. The addition of the petrol engine will only increase its appeal.
