Massive Rs 1 lakh Discount On Tata Electric Cars: Tiago.EV, Punch.EV And Nexon.EV
Tata Motors' electric division is currently the market leader in the EV four-wheeler segment in India. However, despite being the top EV automaker in the country, it still has a lot of MY24 inventory of its popular electric cars, including the Tata Tiago EV, Punch EV, Nexon EV, and Curvv EV. So, in order to clear the old stock, the company is now offering massive discounts on these four models for the last year's manufactured units. These discounts range from Rs 40,000 all the way up to Rs 1 lakh.
Tata Tiago.ev Discounts
First off, let's talk about the discounts being offered by the company for the Tata Tiago.ev. The minimum discount on this electric hatchback is Rs 65,000, of which Rs 50,000 is the total discount and Rs 15,000 is a Green Bonus offered on all variants. The maximum discount on the Tata Tiago.ev is on the LR variant with the 3.3 kW charger. It gets a Rs 85,000 discount and a Rs 15,000 Green Bonus, totaling up to Rs 1,00,000.
Tata Punch.ev Discounts
In addition to the Tiago.ev, the Punch.ev, which is based on the top-selling micro-SUV, is also being offered with a significant discount. The lowest discount on the Punch.ev is Rs 40,000 for the medium-range variant. As for the highest, it is Rs 70,000. It has to be noted that these discounts do not include the Green Bonus of Rs 15,000.
Tata Nexon.ev and Curvv.ev Discounts
Speaking of the Tata Nexon.ev discount, this popular subcompact SUV currently gets a maximum discount of Rs 40,000. There is also the same Rs 15,000 bonus. These discounts are applicable only on the MY24 models and on both long-range and mid-range variants. The Tata Nexon.ev is offered in four main variants: Creative, Fearless, Empowered, and Dark Edition.
Lastly, the latest electric car from Tata Motors—the Curvv.ev coupe SUV—is also getting a hefty discount of Rs 70,000 without the Green Bonus and Rs 85,000 when it is included. It has to be noted that all variants of the Curvv.ev are getting these discounts. Lastly, the Tigor.ev is not getting any discounts regardless of the model year.
Tata Motors Harrier.ev Coming Soon
Apart from these above-mentioned electric cars, Tata Motors is also working on the development of the Harrier.ev. It is believed that the Harrier.ev will be launched in India before June. The Harrier.ev is based on the brand’s newest Acti.ev electric architecture. As for the battery pack, it is expected to get a massive 75-80 kWh unit with a real-world range of around 600 km on a single full charge.
What will be even more impressive about the Harrier.ev is that it will become the most affordable electric SUV in India with dual motors, with a price tag of under Rs 30 lakh. This means that this SUV will also get all-wheel-drive capabilities.
As for the design, the Harrier.ev will get a new front bumper, a closed-off grille, and a set of aero blade-style alloy wheels. It will reportedly be powered by a 75-80 kWh battery pack. This is hoped to deliver a range of 500 km per charge.
