Tata Motors is now trying to cement its position as the country's second-largest carmaker. Over the last few months, it has managed to do this by beating Hyundai Motor India Limited. Now, the company is planning to launch seven new cars in India, which will help it in achieving this feat. If you are one of those people who are interested in knowing which Tata Motors cars are lined up for India, then you have reached the right spot.

The first and one of the most technologically advanced vehicles, which is coming very soon from Tata Motors, is none other than the Harrier.ev. This new electrified version of the Harrier has already been fully showcased, and it has managed to excite the buyers with its shown capabilities. The model is expected to be offered with dual motor and single motor setups.

As for the battery pack, it is expected to be offered with a 75–80 kWh unit, which will be able to provide this SUV with a real-world range of around 500+ km on a single full charge. In terms of price, it could be priced around the range of Rs 28–30 lakh. Once launched around June of this year, it will take on rivals like the Mahindra BE 6, Hyundai Creta Electric, Maruti Suzuki e-Vitara, and others.

Tata Motors' premium hatchback, the Altroz, has been around for a long time, and it has mostly remained unchanged. So, in order to spice things up, the company is planning to launch a facelifted iteration of the Altroz. Last month, a fully camouflaged test mule of this hatchback was spotted testing. The new Altroz facelift will feature a new front fascia, including new LED headlights, a new grille, and a new bumper.

As for the side profile, it will get a set of new alloy wheels. On the rear as well, the taillights are expected to be changed along with the bumper. The interior will largely remain the same, with the most likely addition of a new illuminated Tata-logo-bearing steering wheel.

Powertrain options of the 1.2-litre NA petrol engine and a 1.5L turbo diesel engine with the standard Altroz, and a 1.2L turbo petrol engine of the Racer version, will be retained. Launch is expected around November of this year.

To compete with the likes of the Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara, and other popular mid-size SUVs, Tata Motors is gearing up for the launch of the Sierra, which was showcased at the 2025 Bharat Mobility Global Auto Expo this year in January. The new model will get a macho exterior and a modern interior with all the bells and whistles.

Expected to make its debut by July of this year, the Sierra will be launched with features such as a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster, a 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system, panoramic sunroof, wireless phone charger, powered tailgate, dual-zone climate control, and others.

Powertrain options will include a 1.5-litre turbo-petrol engine, which will make around 168 bhp and 280 Nm of torque. There will also be a 2.0-litre Kryotec diesel, which will make 168 bhp and 350 Nm of torque.

Tata Motors is reportedly listening to its customers, and it is gearing up for the launch of the petrol Harrier in India. This model will look exactly the same as the diesel-powered model. However, its main highlight will be the new 1.5-litre TGDi petrol engine. This particular motor was shown by the brand back in 2023 at the Indian Auto Expo.

This new four-cylinder turbo engine will be able to generate 170 bhp of power. It will also be able to generate a maximum torque output of 280 Nm. It is expected to be launched around July of this year, with pricing in the same range of Rs 15 to 26 lakh.

In terms of design, this model will also be launched with a closed-off front grille and redesigned bumpers.
