Tata Nexon.EV 45 kWh Electric SUV Launched With Level 2 ADAS: Details
In order to lure in more buyers, Tata Motors has given its popular electric SUV, the Nexon.ev, ADAS Level 2 and a bunch of other new and premium features. In addition to the active safety feature suite, Tata Motors has also unveiled the Nexon.ev #Dark and Red #Dark editions as well. Both of these variants also get the same features but on the outside get a blacked-out treatment. The Red Dark edition gets a red interior as well.
Tata Nexon.ev gets ADAS Level 2
First off, let's talk about the pricing of the Tata Nexon.ev Empowered +A 45. The standard variant has been priced at Rs 17.29 lakh. Meanwhile, the Empowered +A Dark Edition carries a price tag of Rs 17.49 lakh. Lastly, the Empowered +A Red Dark Edition, which comes with a fully red interior, also gets the same price tag of Rs 17.49 lakh. All of these prices are ex-showroom prices.
Features of Nexon.ev +A 45 with ADAS Level 2
Tata Motors is offering the Nexon.ev Empowered +A 45 with a bunch of active safety features which include Traffic Sign Recognition, Lane Centering System, Lane Departure System, Lane Keep Assist, and Forward Collision Warning. It also gets Autonomous Emergency Braking and High Beam Assist. All of these features are already on offer on the Harrier.ev, Harrier, and Safari.
Apart from these features, the Nexon.ev Empowered +A 45 gets a new rear window sunshade. It now also comes with ambient lighting, which adds to the premium feel on the inside. Tata Motors has also unveiled the Nexon.ev Dark Edition as well. It comes with an all-black exterior, all-black interior, panoramic sunroof, V2L, V2V, a 31.24 cm Harman touchscreen infotainment system, and a 26.03 cm digital instrument gauge cluster.
Powering the top-of-the-line Tata Nexon.ev is a Permanent Magnet Synchronous AC Motor located at the front axle. This motor is capable of producing 143 bhp of power and 215 Nm of torque. This front-wheel-drive SUV can accelerate from 0–100 km/h in 8.9 seconds and offers a certified range of approximately 489 km.
As for the charging, the 45 kWh battery pack offered in the Nexon.ev can be charged from 10–100% in about 17 hours and 36 minutes with a 15A plug point. The AC fast charging speed of this vehicle goes from 10–100% in approximately 6 hours and 36 minutes with a 7.2 kW charger. Lastly, 10–80% battery charge takes place in approximately 40 minutes with a 50 kW charger.
