Tata Punch Camo Edition Re-Launched In India – Price And Details

Tata Motors has reintroduced the Punch Camo Edition in India. It continues to be a limited-time edition, with prices starting from Rs 8.45 Lakh (ex-showroom). To us, it looks like this special edition is targeted at the festive season, in hopes of boosting sales and clearing off unsold inventory. Tata Punch previously had a Camo edition that was quite popular. It was, however, discontinued earlier this year. Upon its comeback, the Camo edition gets more features and new highlights.
The Camo Edition is priced from Rs 8.45 lakh. It is available from the Accomplished + variant onwards. The special edition commands a price premium of Rs 15,000 over the regular variants. It is available with both manual and AMT transmissions. Even the iCNG version gets Camo variants. There are a total of 10 Camo variants on offer. Below are the variants and their ex-showroom prices:
The CNG variants and their prices:
The new Camo Edition comes with a Green colourway as well. However, there are some key deviations from one that was already on sale here. The old Camo Edition had a Foliage Green exterior colourway. The roof could be had in Piano Black or Pristine White colours. Irrespective of the roof colour, the ORVMs were always in Black. The 16-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels had a Charcoal colour on them. The SUV also had a humanity line finished in dark Satin and silver skid plate, along with a ‘CAMO’ mascot.
The 2025 Tata Punch Camo edition gets a new ‘Seaweed Green’ exterior colour. It looks better than Foliage Green in pictures, while it remains to be seen how much of a visual difference it will make in real life. The roof and rearview mirrors are both finished in contrasting White colour. The 16-inch alloy wheels continue to wear Charcoal Grey and there are ‘CAMO’ mascots on the front fenders. Painting the ORVMs White has definitely made a difference in the way this car looks. It wouldn’t be surprising to see people repaint these Black post-purchase.
The new Camo edition gets significant reworks on the inside. The cabin gets a dark theme with the dashboard and seat upholstery finished in shades of Black. The seats now get unique Camo-themed patterns on them. Another key highlight is the new 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. It also comes with features like a wireless charger, rear AC vents, front armrest and a fast C-type USB charger.
There are no mechanical changes on the new Camo edition Punch. It continues to be powered by the 1.2L naturally aspirated petrol engine that produces 87 BHP and 115 Nm. Two transmission options are available: a 5-speed manual and 5 speed AMT. The micro-SUV is underpinned by the ALFA-ARC platform that also forms the base of the Altroz hatchback.
Tata Punch is in huge acceptance in the country. It is in fact, one of the top-selling cars in most months. With its smart value proposition, the Punch is driving much traction into the micro-SUV space, together with the Exter. The Punch currently has a wide range of powertrains on offer- petrol, CNG and electric.
