However, recently the CM of Telangana, Anumula Revanth Reddy, was seen arriving at an event in a Mercedes Maybach GLS600 luxury SUV. The video showing the Telangana CM making an imposing entrance in a Mercedes Maybach GLS600 has been shared on YouTube by EIS MALAPPURAM. It starts with a Mahindra Bolero with policemen and a bulletproof Toyota Fortuner entering the premises where the event was held. Following this, the black and gold dual-tone Mercedes Maybach GLS600 was seen arriving.
Soon after the Maybach SUV arrived, the security guards took their positions and opened the front door for the chief minister. After this, CM Revanth Reddy was seen exiting the vehicle. He was then greeted by the people at the entrance, and he headed inside the building for the event.
Now you may be wondering if this Telangana CM Revanth Reddy owns this Mercedes Maybach GLS600 or not. Well, the answer to that is this Maybach SUV worth Rs 3.35 crore is not owned by him. Instead, the real owner of this SUV is another prominent politician.
This Mercedes Maybach GLS600 belongs to PV Abdul Wahab, MP. For those who may not be aware, he is the Rajya Sabha MP from the state of Kerala. He also serves as the national treasurer of the Indian Union Muslim League. Like CM Revanth Reddy, he is also a part of the Indian National Congress.
As for the SUV CM Revanth Reddy was seen in, it is the most luxurious SUV offered by Mercedes-Benz in India. It is sold under the Maybach brand, which is the ultra-luxury division of the already luxurious German automotive giant. This particular car currently costs Rs 3.35 crore (ex-showroom).
The company recently launched the Maybach GLS600’s facelift in the Indian market. This comes after the SUV received a ton of popularity amongst the wealthy buyers of India. As for the changes, the new GLS600 facelift comes with a slightly redesigned front grille and an all-new bumper.
This time around, even the grille on the air intakes gets the Maybach logo pattern to highlight its exclusiveness. Coming to the rear, the new facelifted model now gets updated LED internals for the taillamps and new Maybach-specific exhaust tips.
On the inside, the new Maybach GLS600 gets updates such as a new design for the steering wheel and revised AC vents. It also gets the latest-gen MBUX software with new graphics and updated telematics. The SUV also gets a fingerprint sensor and hand gestures for selective commands.
The main highlight of the Mercedes Maybach GLS are its ultra-luxurious rear seats. These seats are offered with ventilation and massage functions. Additionally, they can recline up to 43.5 degrees. They also get an extendable leg rest and two MBUX screens along with a 590W Burmester 3D surround sound system.
This SUV comes powered by a 4.0-litre, twin-turbocharged V8 engine. This motor generates a maximum power of 557 bhp and 770 Nm of torque. It also gets a 48V hybrid system as well. As for the transmission, it comes mated to a 9-speed automatic transmission and 4Matic All-wheel drive system.
