The first vehicle on this list is the Skoda Kylaq sub-compact SUV. Recently, the Skoda Kylaq was crash-tested by Bharat NCAP, and it has managed to score the perfect 5-star safety rating. The Kylaq has scored an impressive 30.88/32 points in the adult occupant protection tests.

It has also scored 45 out of 49 points in the child occupant protection tests. As per the reports, the SUV provided good protection for most body regions. It comes equipped with 6 airbags as standard, electronic stability control, ABS and EBD, traction control system, and many others. The Skoda Kylaq starts at Rs 7.89 lakh and goes up to Rs 14.40 lakh.

Tata Punch

The most popular and best-selling car of 2024, the Tata Punch, is one of the most affordable and safest cars in India. It has scored 31.46 out of 32 points in adult occupant protection tests at Global NCAP. Meanwhile, its score for child occupant protection tests is 45/49.

It comes equipped with safety features such as six airbags, traction control, hill-hold assist, reverse parking sensors, auto headlamps, and rain-sensing wipers. As for the pricing, the Tata Punch starts at Rs 6.20 lakh and goes all the way up to Rs 10.32 lakh.

Tata Nexon

Like the Tata Punch, the Nexon is also one of the best-selling SUVs from the brand. It was one of the very first cars in India to score a perfect 5-star safety rating. This SUV managed to score 29.41/32 in the adult occupant protection tests in the front offset and side barrier tests held by Global NCAP. It also scored 43.83/49 in child occupant protection tests.

This sub-compact SUV from Tata Motors comes loaded with safety features such as 6 airbags as standard, ESC, traction control, and hill-hold assist. The Tata Nexon currently starts at Rs 8 lakh and goes up to Rs 15.5 lakh. It is also offered with CNG and electric drivetrains.

Tata Altroz

Apart from the already mentioned two Tata cars, the Altroz is another vehicle from Tata that has managed to score a 5-star safety rating from Global NCAP. The hatchback, when it was tested, scored 16.13/17 in adult occupant protection tests and 29/49 in child occupant protection tests.

Last but not least, the Mahindra XUV 3XO is another one of the safest vehicles in India. It has managed to score a perfect 5-star safety rating in the crash tests organized by Bharat NCAP. It scored 29.36 out of 32 in adult occupant protection tests and 43/49 in child occupant protection tests.
