Honda City: Save Up To 1.14 Lakh
The City is a star car in the sedan space. Honda had recently announced attractive discounts and benefits on what is still their most-sold sedan. In October, it continues to offer discounts of up to ₹1.14 lakh on unsold stocks of the old form. This is the highest discount available across Honda’s range of cars this month. Meanwhile, the updated Honda City offers discounts of up to ₹94,000.
The 5th generation Honda City is available in four variants: SV, V, VX, and ZX. The V, VX, and ZX variants come with the option of a CVT automatic transmission, while the standard powertrain is a 1.5-litre, four-cylinder petrol engine that generates 121hp, paired with a manual transmission.
Honda also offers a hybrid version of the City, which is unique in its segment. This hybrid model benefits from a cash discount of ₹70,000 and a complimentary 3-year service package worth ₹20,000, giving total benefits of up to ₹90,000. These savings, if you recollect, are the same as September.
VW Virtus: Save Up To 70,000
The Virtus is Volkswagen’s MQB A0 IN-based sedan, manufactured under the India 2.0 program. It is available with two engine options- 1.0 TSI and 1.5 TSI. Both manual and automatic (DSG and TC) transmissions are also available. These are the same mechanicals as the popular Taigun SUV. The Virtus, however, performs and rides like a proper sedan.
The Virtus offers up to 1.2 lakh savings in October. This is valid on the 1.0 TSI automatic variants. The more powerful, more fun-to-drive 1.5 TSI models offer up to 70,000 in discounts.
Honda Amaze: Save Up To 1.12 Lakh
The top-spec top-spec VX and special Elite edition variants get the maximum benefits this festive season. Up to 1.12 lakh can be saved on these variants of the Amaze. The mid-spec S variant offers a discount of up to Rs 96,000. Up to 86,000 can be saved on the entry-level Amaze E.
The Honda Amaze is still popular for how spacious it feels for a car of its segment, and how refined its 1.2L petrol engine feels. It is in fact, getting ready to get a generational update soon. This could also be a reason why the discounts this time are so big.
Skoda Slavia: Save Up To 80,000
Up to Rs 80,000 can be saved on the Slavia this month. Actual savings vary between trims and depending on stock availability. The Slavia gets two engine options- 1.0 TSI and 1.5 TSI. Like the Virtus, the 1.0L Slavia produces 115hp and 178 Nm while the more potent 1.5 TSI generates 150 hp and 250 Nm. A manual and AT gearboxes are available with the smaller petrol engine while DSG comes only on the 1.5TSI.
Maruti Ciaz: Up To 45,000
Maruti Suzuki Ciaz may not be the most popular sedan today. But it packs a good value proposition for many. Sold through Nexa dealerships, the Ciaz is now offered with savings of up to Rs 45,000. It is powered by a 1.5L naturally aspirated, 4-cylinder petrol engine that produces 105PS and 138 Nm. Two gearboxes are available- 5-speed manual and 4AT. The manual version is often praised for its fuel efficiency.
