Toyota Hyryder Festival Limited Edition Launched In India
Toyota has launched the Hyryder Festival Limited Edition targeting the festive season. The limited edition adds a bunch of accessories to the mid-spec G and top-spec V variants of the Hyryder, making it more appealing visually and in features. The cabin and exterior of the vehicle both see significant improvements.
The Festival edition gets 13 Toyota Genuine Accessories. Both the mild hybrid and strong hybrid versions get the special edition. The accessory package- worth Rs 50,817 is offered free of cost till October 31 at all dealerships.
What’s New in the Festival Limited Edition?
The special edition Hyryder gets slight visual reworks courtesy of the new accessories. The kit includes mudflaps, door visors, bumper garnish, headlamp garnish, a hood emblem, body cladding, fender garnish, rear door lid garnish and chrome door handles.’ On the inside, the festival edition gets all-weather 3D mats, dash camera and foot area lights.
Other than these, the feature and equipment levels remain identical to the regular G and V variants. The top-spec V variant comes well-kitted and offers the likes of ventilated front seats, automatic climate control, cruise control, wireless smartphone connectivity, heads-up display, panoramic sunroof, Toyota’s i-Connect connected car tech and a 360-degree camera. It also comes with a full LED lighting package.
Hyryder Festival Limited Edition Specifications
There are no mechanical changes on the special edition Hyryder. It continues with the same set of powertrains as the regular SUV. There are mild hybrid and strong hybrid versions available. The mild hybrid gets a 1.5-litre, four-cylinder petrol engine that produces 103 hp and is paired to a 12V mild hybrid system. A 5-speed manual and 6-speed automatic gearbox comes with this engine. AWD is available on the range-topping manual version. The mileage of mild hybrid manual, automatic and AWD are 21.12 kpl, 20.58 kpl and 19.39 kpl respectively.
The second powertrain is a strong hybrid unit that is known for its fuel efficiency. It is a 1.5L, 3-cylinder engine that is mated to an electric motor and battery pack. The setup offers a maximum output of 116 hp. It comes mated to an eCVT automatic gearbox and has an ARAI certified fuel efficiency of 27.97 kpl.
In terms of safety, the Hyryder ranks high. It comes with 3-point seat belts for all passengers, including a rear middle three-point seatbelt, ABS, EBD, all-wheel disc brakes, Rear parking sensors, Hill assist, ISOFIX mounts, and six airbags.
Pricing
The Toyota Hyryder Festival Limited Edition is priced between Rs. 14.49 lakhs and Rs. 20 lakhs (ex-showroom)- almost the same as the regular model. Although it retains the same mechanical features as the standard model, the inclusion of accessories worth Rs. 50,817/- at no extra cost adds more value to it.
With these in place, Toyota aims to tap into the festive season sales. Already known for its strong hybrid powertrain and excellent high fuel efficiency, these rejigs make it an even more compelling choice for buyers looking for a C-SUV.
