Toyota Innova Hycross Exclusive Edition Launched At Rs 32.58 Lakhs!

The 'Toyota Innova' is a formidable name in India's automotive landscape. The moniker has long stood for the 'reliable, comfortable and value for money family vehicle' The Hycross is the Innova's most modern iteration with more advanced underpinnings and a fuel-efficient (hybrid) engine. Now Toyota Kirloskar Motor (TKM) has launched a new special edition to it, called the Hycross Exclusive Edition, at an ex-showroom price of Rs 32.58 lakh. This Limited edition will only be available during the months from May to July 2025.
To start with, the Exclusive Edition is based on the top-spec ZX(O) trim. It adds more visual appeal and a handful of new features to the Hycross.
It will be offered in just two shades: Super White and Pearl White. Both are dual-tone colourways. The vehicle comes with blacked-out elements on the roof, grille, hood badge, rear garnish, and alloy wheels.
Special under-run protection can be seen in the front and at the rear. The special edition Hycross also gets Chrome accents on the rear door and multiple 'Exclusive' badges.
Inside the cabin, Toyota has added dual-tone finishes on the dashboard, door trim, seat fabric, and the centre console lid. Features like a wireless phone charger, legroom lamp, and air purifier are also included to improve passenger comfort. These revisions have improved the cabin experience significantly.
Like most recent special edition models from Toyota, the Hycross Exclusive Edition gets no mechanical changes. It is underpinned by the same platform as the standard MPV and runs the same engine as well. The powertrain- Toyota's 5th Generation Self-Charging Strong Hybrid system, consists of a 2.0-litre 4-cylinder petrol engine, an electric motor and an e-drive transmission.
It has a combined output of 186 PS (137 kW). The fuel efficiency is another major highlight. The hybrid setup also allows the MPV to run in pure EV mode for up to 60% of the time, helping reduce emissions and fuel use.
The Innova HyCross is built on Toyota’s TNGA (Toyota New Global Architecture) platform. This not only ensures a strong body structure but also helps offer a comfortable and stable ride. The SUV-like stance and MPV-level interior space make it an attractive option for large families and chauffeur-driven buyers alike.
Since its launch in November 2022, the Innova HyCross has impressed buyers with its 'fair' list of features. Highlights include Ottoman-style powered second-row seats, ventilated front seats, dual-zone climate control, panoramic sunroof, and 'Toyota Safety Sense' driver assist. The limited edition has further enhanced the vehicle's appeal by getting the feature list refreshed.
In recent years, Toyota has launched several special edition and limited edition models in India. Late last year, we saw the Signature edition being rolled out on the Fortuner, Innova Hycross, Hyryder, and Glanza. Essentially a dealer-level mod job or accessorisation, the Signature Edition had several premium trims on the inside and an exterior colourway which would remind you of Maybach models. It came only on the higher variants of these vehicles. Another notable special edition from last year, was the Fortuner Leader Edition.
Earlier this year, the manufacturer also announced a 'Black Edition' on the Hilux pickup truck. With an ex-showroom price of 37.90 lakh, the Black edition upped the overall appeal of the Hilux. The truck looked more beefy with the Black paint job and darkened parts.
Talking about future launches, Toyota is expected to bring the all-new Fortuner to India later this year. The new SUV will have a lot of changes gone into it and will even include a new Mild-hybrid engine!
