4 BIG Car Launches Of March 2025

The Indian automotive industry is set to witness a slew of new launches this month. Several interesting products are expected, spread across segments and price ranges. Here are 5 to watch out for...
Maruti Suzuki is expected to launch the eVitara in India this month. The electric SUV made its India debut at the Bharat Mobility Expo 2025. This is the carmaker's first electric SUV and has a distinctive styling. Key design highlights include an upright stance, large LED headlights, 18-inch wheels, LED light bars and chunky body cladding.
The cabin gets a modern yet minimalistic layout and features like a floating 10.25-inch infotainment touchscreen, a 10.1-inch fully digital instrument cluster, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a fixed panoramic sunroof, a 10-way power-adjustable driver’s seat, 360-degree camera, electronic parking brake, and ventilated front seats.
The safety kit consists of seven airbags, rear disc brakes, a blind-spot monitor, and Level 2 ADAS.
The eVitara will have the choice of two battery packs- 49kWh and 61kWh. The former will have an output of 143 hp and 192.5 Nm, while the latter will make 173 hp and 192.5 Nm. The 61 kWh versiomn will have an MIDC range of 500 km.
The eVitara is expected to have an ex-showroom price of 20-30 lakh rupees. It will then rival the likes of MG ZS EV, Tata Curvv EV and the recently launched Mahindra BE6 and XEV 9e.
The EV6 was Kia's first electric vehicle (EV) for India. The manufacturer showcased its mid-life facelift at the Bharat Mobility Expo 2025. Like the previous EV, the facelifted EV6 will also have two GT-Line variants- RWD (rear-wheel drive) and AWD (all wheel drive).
The new Kia EV6 gets revised looks and more features. Even the powertrain has been updated. Bookings are currently underway and the launch is expected in March. The vehicle will continue to be brought in as CBUs, and thus we cannot expect it to be priced on the affordable side.
The EV6 is based on the Hyundai-KIA E-GMP platform. Instead of the outgoing model's 77.4kWh battery pack, the facelift will feature a larger 84kWh unit. It will use advanced fourth-generation cells as well. The power and torque would be 325hp and 605Nm respectively. The new EV6 is claimed to deliver a range of over 650km per charge. It will also have faster charging speeds.
The next big launch from Tata Motors is the Harrier.EV. This electric SUV too is expected to hit the market in March. It will likely have a 75 kWh battery pack that delivers a real-world range of 500 km per charge. The SUV will have a strong focus on performance and feature AWD (All Wheel Drive) variants as well.
JSW MG Motor India will launch the Cyberster electric sportscar later this month. The India-spec was showcased at Auto Expo this year. Drawing strong design inspiration from the MG B roadster, the Cyberster will have a 77kWh battery pack and a dual-motor setup that's capable of producing 510 hp and 725Nm. 0-100 kph, MG says, can be done in just 3.2 seconds. The CLTC range will be around 580 kilometers.
