All New Honda Amaze Fully Revealed Before December 4th Launch [Video]
The Japanese automotive giant Honda Cars India will officially take the covers off the new third-generation Amaze on December 4th. However, before this official launch, a few pictures showing the complete exterior and interior of this highly anticipated sub-compact sedan have been shared online. These images confirm that the Amaze has taken several design elements from its siblings, the City and the Elevate.
The pictures of the all-new Honda Amaze come courtesy of Car Holic 14 from YouTube. Prior to these images, we only saw the front and rear of this vehicle without any camouflage during the night. However, those images did not reveal many details. On the other hand, these images give a much clearer view of this new sedan.
2024 Honda Amaze: Exterior Design Details
Front
First off, let’s talk about the front-end styling of the new third-generation Amaze. It gets a brand-new hexagonal front grille, which is much larger than before and boasts a hexagonal pattern finished in high-gloss black. It also gets gloss-black surrounds.
On top of this grille, there is a thick strip of chrome that extends from one end of the front to the other. The massive Honda emblem sits front and center. Another major highlight of this front fascia is its headlights. Honda has given the Amaze the same headlights as the Elevate.
There are two LED pods inside the headlight unit, and there is also an L-shaped LED DRL. Moving below to the bumper, we can note that the company has also added new fog lights, and there is a small air dam with horizontal elements. Overall, the front end of the Amaze looks very classy and sophisticated.
Side Profile
Unfortunately, there are no pictures of the side profile of the new Amaze. However, we do know that the major change will be the addition of a new set of alloy wheels. Most likely, the silhouette of the Amaze will be unchanged.
Rear End
What has been shared online is the rear end of this upcoming sedan. We can note that the majority of the inspiration for the new Amaze’s rear end has been taken from the Honda City. It is so similar that most people will mistake it for its elder sibling. It gets the same U-shaped LED taillights as the City.
However, enthusiasts will be able to note that these lights are slightly chunkier. Apart from these new lights, the rear boot lid has also been completely changed, and so has the bumper. There is a shark fin antenna on top, and we can note two parking sensors on the bumper. Overall, the new Amaze looks a lot more premium and refined.
2024 Honda Amaze: Interior Design
Apart from the exterior, a few images revealing the interior of the new 2024 Honda Amaze have also been shared. It can be observed that the entire dashboard layout has been changed, and it now looks almost exactly like the one seen on the Elevate, but with minor revisions.
The main highlight is the 10.25-inch freestanding touchscreen infotainment system. This appears to be the same unit seen on the Honda Elevate. In addition, there are sleek AC vents just underneath the screen in the middle, and there is a unique pattern on the passenger side.
Like the Elevate, the new Amaze will get the same automatic climate control system and buttons. As for the centre console, we can note two cup holders, a manual transmission, and a standard parking brake. The steering wheel is also the same as the Elevate and the current-generation Honda City.
A picture showing the door pad of this sedan has also been shared. It continues the same black and beige interior. There is cushioning on the hand rest, and there are deep storage cubbies for water bottles. Lastly, a picture showing the rear AC vents of this sedan has also been shared.
2024 Honda Amaze: Powertrain
Powertrain-wise, Honda will not change anything under the bonnet of the Amaze. It will continue to be powered by a 1.2-litre four-cylinder i-VTEC petrol engine. It makes 88.5 bhp and 110 Nm. Both a 5-speed manual and a CVT transmission are likely to be offered.
