One of the recent brands to officially announce its entry into the Indian market this year was VinFast. The Vietnamese EV manufacturer not only showcased its models at the Bharat Mobility Expo but also decided to launch them in India. They even have plans to set up a manufacturing facility in the country, and work for the same is currently going on in Tuticorin, Tamil Nadu. We already know that VinFast will be launching its VF6 and VF7 electric SUVs in the market first. As the EV game gets more competitive, here is what VinFast will be offering in their eSUVs to attract buyers.

VinFast VF6 is the smaller of the two SUVs that the Vietnamese brand will be launching in India. The car comes with an exterior design that is not common in our market. It looks unique, and that is probably going to be one of the factors that will attract a lot of buyers to the dealership.

Coming to the features, VinFast VF6 will get three best-in-class features. The first one is the electric motor. VF6’s electric motor will generate around 210 PS, making it the most powerful EV in its segment.

The next is a 12.9-inch touchscreen infotainment system. It is also going to be the largest in the segment, with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto built-in.

Apart from these two, VinFast VF6 also gets 26 smart features, which is the most in its segment. These include multiple drive assist systems, a head-up display (HUD), and advanced safety tools like lane-keeping assist, automatic emergency braking, and a 360° camera.

You also get multiple driving profiles, 7 airbags, and an air purifier. VinFast will also offer a 7-year warranty on the VF6.

VF7

The next model, or the bigger SUV, is said to have a different character from the VF6. VinFast claims that the VF7 is for those who like to be pushed back into the seat when they accelerate. Just like the VF6, the VF7 is also designed by Torino Design, Italy.

vf7

As mentioned above, the VF7 is likely to be more thrilling to drive. The Plus trim delivers 349 horsepower and 500 Nm of torque, enough to take you from 0 to 100 km/h in under 5.8 seconds. It also has drive modes like the VF6.

Apart from this, VinFast is also offering 26 smart features, including 22 ADAS functions - the most in the segment -like adaptive cruise control, lane keeping, automatic braking, and even traffic sign detection. It also has memory settings for your climate control and seats. VinFast will offer a 10-year or 2 lakh km warranty on the VF7.

Apart from these, both VF6 and VF7 get the same baseline of smart, practical features. Both cars are future-ready with over-the-air update capability, so they can keep improving with new features.

Connected car features and a mobile application mean you can check battery levels, lock or unlock doors, and even start pre-conditioning the cabin before you leave the house. VinFast is displaying these models in several Indian cities, and bookings for the same have also started. You can book these models by making a refundable payment of ₹21,000 on their official website https://vinfastauto.in/ or by visiting a dealership near you.
