Volkswagen Virtus, Taigun Selling At Massive Discounts Of Upto Rs. 2.5 Lakh

The German automotive giant Volkswagen is offering massive discounts on its popular cars, the Virtus and Taigun, in India. These discounts and benefits go up to Rs 2.5 lakh. The company is also offering a standard warranty of four years on these models. Apart from these, there is a special loyalty bonus of Rs 50,000 for Polo owners who exchange their cars at the dealerships.

Volkswagen Virtus Discounts

First off, let's talk about the discounts on the mid-size sedan, the Virtus. The company is offering benefits of up to Rs 83,000 on the Virtus GT Line 1.0-litre TSI AT. As for the GT Plus Sport 1.5-litre DSG, it gets a discount of Rs 1.35 lakh. Apart from these, the Virtus Chrome Highline 1.0-litre AT variant is getting a benefit of Rs 1.90 lakh.

Meanwhile, the Virtus Topline 1.0-litre TSI AT is being offered with a discount of Rs 1.87 lakh. Lastly, the Virtus GT Plus Chrome 1.5-litre TSI DSG is getting a total discount of Rs 1.29 lakh. The Virtus currently starts at Rs 11.56 lakh and goes all the way up to Rs 19.40 lakh.

Now, coming to the discounts on the popular mid-size SUV, the Taigun. Volkswagen is offering the Taigun GT Line 1.0-litre TSI AT with a Rs 1.45 lakh discount. Then there's the Taigun GT Plus Sport 1.5-litre TSI DSG variant, which is getting a discount of Rs 2 lakh.

As for the maximum discount on the Taigun, the Highline 1.0-litre TSI AT is getting the maximum benefit of up to Rs 2.5 lakh. The Taigun Topline 1.0-litre TSI MT is getting a benefit of up to Rs 2.36 lakh. Lastly, the Taigun GT Plus Chrome 1.5-litre TSI DSG gets a discount of up to Rs 2.39 lakh.

Both the Virtus and Taigun come with the same engine options. They both get a 1.0-litre turbo petrol motor, which makes 114 bhp and 178 Nm of torque. These siblings also get the more powerful 1.5-litre turbo petrol engine, which makes 148 bhp and 250 Nm of torque. They also get 6-speed manual, 6-speed torque converter, and DSG gearbox options.
