Thanks to NGT rules in the Delhi NCR region, the dream of owning a luxury car has finally turned into reality for many car enthusiasts. One of the issues with luxury cars is that they depreciate very fast, which means they lose their value quickly.

We have seen several ads in the past where well-kept luxury cars are sold for less than half of their original price. Here we have one such advertisement where a single-owner Mercedes-Benz S-Class with a V8 engine, which used to cost over a crore when new, is being sold at a price cheaper than a brand-new Maruti Alto K10.

The advertisement has been posted by Shivkripa Motors on their Instagram page. This is not the first time we have come across a post where a Mercedes-Benz luxury sedan, especially an S-Class, is up for sale. What makes this sale different is the version. Usually, we see diesel sedans on sale at attractive prices.

However, in this case, it is a petrol version. From the pictures, the car looks immaculate, and we do not see any major dents or scratches anywhere on it. The car seen here is a W221 generation S500 sedan. It comes with projector headlamps, LED DRLs, and a large chrome-finished front grille.

The owner of the car has taken good care of it, and that is evident from the pictures. This is a 2010 model S500 sedan, and we do not see any signs of rough use or wear and tear, even on the buttons and seats. The car gets alloy wheels, LED tail lamps, and a decent amount of chrome detailing.

The interior of the S500 is also well-maintained. It gets a light brown interior with wooden inserts in several places. There are wooden inserts on the door, steering, dashboard, center console, and even on the armrest for rear passengers.

This is a car from 2010, but that doesn’t mean it lacks features. It comes with electrically adjustable seats with memory function, a company-fitted infotainment system, a digital instrument cluster, a chunky-looking steering wheel, a massive panoramic sunroof, automatic curtains for rear windows, multi-zone climate control, and more. We also see two rear-seat entertainment screens installed behind the rear headrests.

The advertisement mentions that the car is completely original and has never had an accident. None of the panels have been repainted or replaced. The seller mentions that the car has done around 1.60 lakh km on the odometer, and service records for the same are available with the company. The car is powered by a 5.5-litre V8 petrol engine that generates 368 Bhp and 505 Nm of peak torque. It is massive and offers more than ample space for occupants in the cabin.

The car is registered in Delhi and is currently with its first owner. It is likely to complete 15 years in November this year, which means it will be offered at a very interesting price. The S500, which was once worth over a crore, is being sold for Rs 5.79 lakh. This is actually cheaper than a Maruti Alto K10 VXI Plus AMT variant.
