7 seat Mercedes Benz GL350 CDI luxury SUV selling at Kia Seltos prices

Mercedes-Benz is currently the most popular luxury car brand in India. They have been present in our market for a very long time and over the years, Mercedes-Benz has brought several models to India. One of the latest car that they launched in Indian market is the Maybach GLS which is the most expensive SUV from the manufacturer at the moment. Before launching GLS, Mercedes-Benz used to sell GL350 SUV in India. Back then, it was their flagship SUV and it used to compete with cars like Audi Q7 in the segment. Now, several well maintained examples of GL 350 are available in the used car market and here we have one such SUV.

Starting with the front, the seller shows massive front grille with Mercedes-Benz logo in the center. The projector headlamps with LED DRLs and turn indicators are also seen here. There is decent amount of chrome garnish at the front.

Moving to the side profile, seller shows how long this SUV actually is. The SUV comes with company fitted alloy wheels, auto folding ORVMs, illuminated foot steps, LED tail lamps and so on. Both at the side and rear chrome garnished can be seen. Overall, the SUV looks well maintained from outside with minor scratches at places.

As we move in, the cabin looks well maintained too. It gets a beige and brown dual tone finish to interiors. The door gets leather upholstery on the armrest and padding with wooden inserts on it. The upper portion of dashboard gets soft touch leather whereas the lower half gets beige finish to it. The seats in this SUV are wrapped in leather and so is the steering. It gets features like company fitted infotainment screen, electrically adjustable seats, electrically height adjustable suspension, paddle shifters, three zone climate control, electric sunroof, two entertainment screens for second row passengers and a moon roof for the third row passenger.

Mercedes-Benz GL 350 is so huge that even with all three row seats up, there is decent amount of space for luggage in the boot. The third row seats can be folded electrically if there is a need for more luggage space. Mercedes-Benz GL 350 is a proper SUV that can handle off-road terrains. Coming to the details, this is a 2011 model GL 350 diesel SUV.

It is powered by a 3.0 litre V6 diesel engine that generates 255 hp and 619 Nm of peak torque. The engine is mated to an automatic transmission. The car looks well maintained, both inside and outside. The car has done approximately 95,000 kms and is registered in Delhi. Asking price for this well maintained luxury SUV is Rs 14.45 lakh. This is actually less expensive than a brand new Kia Seltos SUV. It might be less expensive than a Kia Seltos to buy but, maintenance will be a lot more expensive. It is always a good idea to get the vehicle checked from a workshop or service before buying a luxury car.
