DC modified Mahindra Thar – DC Hammer for sale: Only 4,500 Kms done

When we talk about off-road SUVs, one of the car that comes to the mind first is the Mahindra Thar. It has been available in the country for a while and is due for an update. Mahindra is working on a next-generation Thar and is likely to launch in India later this year. Meanwhile, there are many examples of modified Mahindra Thar in the Indian market and we have featured the same in many of our articles in the past. Many examples of Mahindra Thar are also available in the used car market. Here we have one such Mahindra Thar that has been extensively modified by DC Designs.

The Advertisement is shared on a social media platform. The DC modified Thar or DC Hammer looks in great condition. From the pictures the car looks as good as a new one. The DC Hammer in the images is based on a 2017 model Mahindra Thar CRDe which makes it as good as a new vehicle. The car is painted in a shade of maroon. Location of the car is Maharashtra and is registered in Pune. The advertisement mentions that the Hammer has done 4,500 km only.

The exterior of the Thar CRDe has been extensively modified by DC. It now gets a redesigned front bumper, fender, headlight unit and bonnet at the front. Coming to the side profile, It gets a hardtop with a large glass area, new set of alloy wheels and chrome inserts at places like door handles, door hinges and so on. At the rear, the design looks quite different from the one seen on standard Thar.

On the inside, It gets all black leather seats, with a touchscreen infotainment system from DC. The interior gets a major makeover from the general Thar and now looks more premium. It is still a 4×4 vehicle and can do fare share of off-roading. Asking price for this 2019 model Thar DC Hammer is Rs 17.5 lakh. Advertisement does not share the exact reason behind this sale. DC Hammer was showcased at the Indian Auto Expo back in 2018.
