DC Design Modified Volkswagen Polo Is Up For Sale: Interested?

Volkswagen Polo is one of the most popular hatchbacks in its segment. It was sadly discontinued from the Indian market in 2022. There are rumors about the Polo making a comeback, but we feel that is not going to happen. The Polo was one of those cars that had a great fanbase. It was a great donor car for modifications, and we have seen several cool examples in the past. Even DC Designs, now known as DC2, had modified a Polo hatchback. Interestingly, one such modified Polo from India is currently available for sale.

The image of this DC Designs modified Polo has been posted by a seller from Hyderabad. DC offers customization options for both the exterior and interior for several cars, and this Polo was one among them. If you look carefully, there are several modifications on this premium hatchback that make it look different from the stock or regular one.

The bonnet and front grille on this hatchback look modified. This Polo gets a Range Rover Evoque-like sleeker-looking custom-built headlamp. This changes the front look of the car completely. The bumper of the hatchback has been customized too. We see a matte black cover on the bonnet and the roof. The car is finished in a red and black dual-tone shade.

As we move to the side, you will realize that the Polo is wider than usual. This is because the DC Polo gets a wide body kit with flared wheel arches, a lower lip on the front bumper, and side skirting. The car seen here gets an Avery Dennison wrap on it. Another major difference from the regular Polo is that this is a 2-door Polo. The 4-door Polo has been converted into a 2-door one.

The window glass on this modified Polo is fixed and cannot be rolled down. The car seen in the post gets wide 17-inch tires and aftermarket alloy wheels. At the rear, there is a custom-built tail lamp unit that runs across the width of the car.

We can see the Volkswagen logo in the center. The rear bumper of this Polo is also modified, and it comes with two rectangular exhaust tips.

The interior of this car is not seen in the post, but DC used to offer bucket seats in this car after replacing the stock ones. It does have 2 seats at the back, but accessing them is going to be a task. The seller has mentioned that this modification has cost him around Rs 35 lakh, including the cost of the car.

Other than these, the 1.6-liter petrol engine of this Polo is Stage 2 tuned with pops and bangs. Coming to the details, this is a 2011 Volkswagen Polo modified by DC Designs. The car has done over 29,000 km on the odometer. The car is one of a kind, and it looks like DC has only modified one Polo in the country like this to date.
