Modification of any sort is actually illegal in India. However, many still do it, and several workshops specialize in such modification work. We have featured many such cars on our website in the past. Some of them are really good to look at, while others attempt to replicate supercars and sports cars. Here, we have images of one such Honda City sedan that has been modified to resemble a Camaro SS muscle car. This American muscle car replica is actually up for sale.

The images have been posted by D.K. Prateek Nagpal on Facebook. The car's location has been mentioned as Jaipur, Rajasthan. It has been finished in a shade of blue, which is also offered with the Camaro SS.

The post mentions that the car was originally a Honda City and has been converted into a Chevrolet Camaro SS muscle car. The exterior has been completely modified, with all body panels made of metal sheets. From a distance, the car does look like a decent replica.

However, upon closer inspection, you begin to notice irregularities on the surface, panel gaps, and a low-quality paint job. While the front of the car looks decent, the side profile appears cheap. A portion of the door panels is finished in black. The Camaro is originally a two-door muscle car; however, in this case, all four doors are visible.

The side profile of the car remains similar to a Honda City, but it gets aftermarket tail lamps and a large spoiler mounted on the tailgate.

The person who posted this advertisement mentions that the car comes with 17-inch HRS racing alloy wheels, low-profile Yokohama tires, racing leather seats, Stage 2 tuning, a dual exhaust system, power brakes, power steering, a brand-new clutch, new brake pads, and many more features.

There are no interior pictures included in the post. The seller claims that the modifications cost Rs 6 lakh. He also claims that the car can reach a top speed of 200 kmph.

The owner is selling the car because he has barely used it—only once in the past year. As for the details, the registration certificate of this Honda City is valid until 2029, and it comes with valid insurance. The car is currently with its second owner and has clocked around 74,000 km.

It is unclear whether this sedan is originally registered in Rajasthan or another state. The asking price for this sedan is Rs 3.50 lakh.

Is It Legal?

Absolutely not. These kinds of modifications are illegal, and law enforcement can easily take action against you if you drive it on the road. However, you can always buy it as a project car, modify it further, and take it to auto expos on a flatbed or trailer for display.
