This Lamborghini Aventador Supercar Replica Is For Sale: Interested?

Even the thought of buying a Lamborghini Aventador would 'feel' expensive. This could be one of the reasons that made people start the trend of creating replicas of the iconic Italian carmaker's models, out of everyday cars. The Honda Civic could probably be the most-used donor car for Lamborghini Replica projects. Recently, a video shared online shows a Lamborghini Aventador replica that's now up for sale.
This vehicle is unlike most other replica projects. We have seen many garages build Lamborghinis out of Honda Civics. Many of those fail to resemble a real Aventador Gallardo. This car, however, packs great attention to detail.
It looks almost like a real Aventador. The front and rear bumpers look good and are well-crafted. It even has scissor doors. The headlights resemble those of the Aventador. The tail lamps, on the other hand, could have been better with its detailing. The rear design, at large, isn't too appealing.
Interestingly, this car, despite being a 'want to be Aventador', lacks the huge air vents near the doors. On most replicas, these are mimicked. This car, however, doesn't have faux air vents. It has interesting alloy wheels as well. The car has been converted into a drop-top by chopping the roof. The suspension seems to have been lowered and the interior reworked.
The cabin has a dual-tone colourway. Bright Orange colour has been used on multiple panels, pads and surfaces inside. There is a reworked central tunnel, a large aftermarket infotainment touchscreen and a Lamborghini logo on the steering wheel.
The video explains that the donor car for this project was a 2007 Honda Civic. It now has modifications worth 9.5 lakh rupees done on it. The Registration Certificate (RC) is valid till 2027. The vehicle is currently with AR Auto garage in Maharashtra. The asking price is 5.5 lakh, which is further negotiable. A decent Lamborghini look-alike for under 6 lakh, that's what you get, should you be interested in the purchase.
The Aventador was Lamborghini's flagship which originally made its premiere in February 2011 as a successor to the ageing MurciƩlago, at the Geneva Motor Show. It was available as both a coupe and convertible. The car got its name due to the large air intake that sit behind the doors and help in engine breathing. It could probably be the most iconic Lamborghini for millenials.
The flagship supercar was powered by a 6.5L , naturally aspirated V12 engine. This howling mad powertrain used to produce 769 bhp and 720 Nm on the Aventador Ultimae- the iconic car's final form. It could do 0-100 kph in 2.8 seconds and had a top speed of 355 kph.
The Ultimae could be had as a coupe and roadster. Like most other Aventador variants, the Ultimae too had wild styling. Its production, however, was limited to 350 coupes and 250 convertibles globally. This iconic Lamborghini nameplate met the end of its road in September 2022. Soon, the Revuelto replaced it as Lamborghini's new flagship.
Now let's take a quick look at the donor car- the Honda Civic. This sedan was originally launched in 2005. Honda introduced different styling for different markets, and India probably got the best-looking one. Its sleek coupe-like design makes the Civic the best donor car for Lamborghini replica projects. The India-spec was powered by a 1.8L petrol engine that could produce 130 hp and 172 Nm.
