Toyota Fortuner and Innova Crysta are some of the popular models that do not require any introduction among buyers around the world. While these cars are extremely reliable, the customer often gets bored with the look after years of use, and they end up doing customisations of different sorts. We have seen several types of aftermarket body kits and conversion kits being installed on previous and current generation Fortuners. Recently, things have gone to the next level, and we have videos where people have converted the front of the Fortuner into a Land Cruiser LC300. One such converted Fortuner has now come up for sale in the used car market.

The video has been shared by Car Wholesale Bazar. In this video, the seller talks about the Toyota Fortuner that has been converted to look like an LC300 from the front. The white-coloured Toyota Fortuner has been modified to resemble an LC300. The quality of work done on this particular project looks good, and the kit used on this car is an imported unit too.

It is highly unlikely that the previous owner opted for an original body kit of the LC300, as it is extremely expensive. As part of the conversion, the front grille, bonnet, fenders, bumper, and headlamps have been replaced with the aftermarket kit.

fortuner to lc300

This is probably the first time a Fortuner with an LC300 kit has come up for sale in the used car market in India. Apart from the modified front, the side profile of the car looks just like the regular Type 3 Fortuner. The wheels on this SUV have also been replaced. In fact, the previous owner opted for original LC300-like chrome-finished wheels for a complete look.

For the same reason, the front end of the SUV doesn’t look too odd. The rear of the Fortuner gets aftermarket LED tail lamps and several chrome accessories. The video mentions that this is a 2017 model diesel 4x2 automatic Toyota Fortuner, which is currently with its first owner.

Apart from the conversion kit and the alloy wheels, the steering wheel on this Fortuner has also been customised. It is actually an LC300 steering wheel with a carbon fiber finish around it. We are not sure if the interior of the car has been customised as well.

The car seen here is powered by a 2.8-litre turbocharged diesel engine that generates 174 Bhp and 420 Nm of peak torque. As mentioned above, this is a 4x2 SUV. The odometer reading and the registration details of the SUV are not known at the moment. The asking price for this modified, customised, or converted Fortuner is Rs 26.75 lakh.

Interested buyers can get in touch with the details on Car Wholesale Bazar’s Instagram page or reach out to them at 99539 10033 / 20033 / 90033. We are pretty sure that this type of conversion is not something for everyone, but we feel this is going to be a trend that we will be seeing on more Fortuners in the coming months.
