New Land Rover Defender hits the used car market: 30 lakh cheaper than new [Video]

The Land Rover Defender is an SUV that boasts a large fan base around the world. After a gap in production, Land Rover decided to bring back the Defender SUV to the market, and a few years ago, the brand launched the SUV in its new avatar in India as well. The SUV is available with both petrol and diesel engine options, and many Indian celebrities and politicians have already purchased this SUV. However, like many vehicles, the Land Rover Defender also has a waiting period of up to 32 weeks. If you’re planning to buy a Land Rover Defender and don’t want to wait that long, My Country My Ride has uploaded a video on their YouTube channel where an almost new Defender is available for sale, and it’s around Rs 30 lakh cheaper than a new one.

In the video, the vlogger talks to the used car dealer who is selling this almost new Land Rover Defender. They discuss all the features, space, and comfort that the SUV offers. The first thing that one would notice in this SUV is the shade. The Land Rover seen here is finished in Tasman Blue, which is a popular colour, and many celebs have already purchased this SUV in the same shade. The seller mentions that the previous owner of the SUV had opted for some extras that can be seen on the SUV.
The owner had opted for a comfort pack for the SUV, and it looks extremely rugged with a Land Rover genuine front bumper guard installed on it. This elevates the muscular look of the SUV. The headlamps are LED projector units with LED DRLs around it. The Defender branding on the bonnet can be clearly seen, and there are fog lamps on the lower part of the bumper. The side profile of the car reveals how huge it is. This is the Defender 110, which is the 5-door version of the SUV. The SUV comes with air suspension, which helps to increase the height of the SUV during off-road sessions and improve its capability.
The SUV is extremely comfortable, and the seller mentions that the owner has opted for a third-row seat too. The second-row seats are comfortable and come with dedicated climate control buttons. The SUV has four-zone climate control, and at the front, there are features like a touchscreen infotainment system that also shows feed from the 360-degree camera installed around the car. The clarity of the visuals is top-notch, and it is calibrated well. The IRVM is actually a screen that shows feed from the camera mounted on the roof. This is helpful as the rear window of the Defender is quite small, and it also improves the visibility while driving at night.
The seller then takes the car for a drive to show how comfortable and powerful this SUV is. The Defender SUV, as mentioned above, is available with both petrol and diesel engine options, and the one seen here is powered by a 2.0-litre petrol engine that generates 296 Bhp and 400 Nm of peak torque. The SUV seen here is a 2021 registered petrol automatic SUV, and the asking price for this SUV is Rs 1.19 crore. Interested buyers can get in touch with the seller on 8888588886.
